Just to start off, let me say I'm not sure what board to post this in. For school I will need a laptop and i decided that if i got one i would want the surface pro (legit the same specs as my pc right now). I have been debating over the GTX 1080 FE also, so what do you guys think?
Microsoft Surface ($1,000) or GTX 1080 FE ($550)?
Hey guys. I have a gtx 950 sc (single fan) and a SAMSUNG SMB2430H (yes ik, you have never heard of it.) My monitor can run 1080p, it has an LCD display, and its refresh rate is 60 Hertz.
I have been saving up a lot of money and I want to buy the GTX 1080 (FE) and the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q because I want to be able to smoothly run 2440p, and I do not want to wait for the next gen of graphics cards. My problem is, I don't have enough money to buy them both at once.
Should I buy the 460 dollar GTX 1080, or should I wait on that and buy the $1k monitor first?
@blazepanzer24: Pretty good entry level pc, if you are gaming on it I suggest and i5 7600k (just my preference).
@Xtasy26: Don't have a picture of mine, but my specs are:
Intel i5 7600K
GTX 950 SC (upgrading to 1080 soon)
Kingston HyperX FURY Black 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 2133MHz DDR4
Cooler Master Hyper RR-212E-20PK-R2
Corsair CX750W
