i know you guys post this before but i just got a ps3 recently and i just notice this.

dead space demo was running 720p on the ps3,

xbox 360 was running 1080p. WHY IS THAT. i tought ps3 is so good in graphics. why does is do this **** and i can tell cause ps3 dont look smooth

i have a 52" LCD samsung 850 series, 120hz

ps3 on HDMI

360 on components

please help.

im new to this hdtvstuff, so please bare with me.

i have a 32" vizio.720p. i have an xbox 360, and a ps3

when i play gears of war on the xbox 360 i hit the display botton its says 1080p. (how is it displaying 1080p when my tv is 720p)

when im playing ps3 metal gear, display says 1080p, but when im playing motor storm its 720p.

Why is that. i dont get it. xbox 360 is using component cables. and ps3 is using HDMI. (does it matter what hdmi wire your using or it dont matter)

also with movies i own a copy of hancock blue ray. its full hd. when i play it on the ps3 it have a display of 1080p. if my tv is 720p how is it displaying 1080p.
