@thenephariouson Thanks, altho it's funny how Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 looks ten times better than CoD4. They did mention that the PS3 version of CoD4 was better tho. Support for 24 players instead of the Xbox's 18 and slightly better graphics. I highly doubt they will ditch the Cell. They'll probably just make it easier to develop games for it. And as they said in the article "Sony may have planned..." - seem kinda vague.
@MTMind2 Let's put it this way then - from what I know, no multiconsole game has yet taken the full advantage of all the PS3's features, most importantly the Cell processor, which would make an awful lot of difference. In Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 they used as much of the Cell as they could, resulting in graphics\framerate that could never be possible on the Xbox360, as it lacks a Cell processor. Anyway, I don't know what to believe from your post, unless you can come with some sort of source list. They may have had separate teams working on each console when they developed the CoD games, but that doesn't mean that they tried to get the most out of each console, I'm sure they wanted it to be just about the same. Considering the fact that they didn't take advantage of the Cell at all in any of those games.
HAHA this must be the most dumbass comparison ever, I thought Gamespot would be smarter than that :S How smart is it to compare with multiconsole games, when EVERYONE knows all multiconsole games are developed and designed for the Xbox360 and then CONVERTED to the PS3 format. How could the PS3 ever have better gaphics when the games are designed for the Xbox360? If you wanna make a comparison, use exclusives then. Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 vs. Mass Effect 2 and Gears of War#. Multiconsole games doesn't take advantage of all the ps3's features, such as it's very special Cell processor. Again this comparason is extremely stupid.
