I got it and I think it's just a bit better than good (7.5/10 I guess).
Graphics is very nice at times, mainly inside and in night missions and there is a mission in the night and in the rain which does look quite nice. The big grass fields at the beginning of the game don't look great and really turned me down when I first started playing the game. The characters are very detailed but the problem is that most cutscenese have just soldiers in it with a blurred background. So you'll see them alot and as time goes by you'll get bored.
Gameplay is fun once you get used to it, which doesn't take to long, but you do need to get used to it.
Sound quality is very incosistent. Most sounds are great but during the cutscenese you really feel like there is some sound missing, it's just not convincing at times. The lip synching and facial expressions are absolutally horrible and minimal. A puppetshow is more convincing that the BIA cutscenese to put it in perspective. The missions are really enjoyable though when you turn up the volume, headphones or speakers.
I haven't finished the single player yet but am working on it. I don't feel discouraged to continue as I do with most singe player games because they get bored and feel pointless.
O by the way, probably the most enjoyable part of this game are the tank missions :). I guess because you're fully embracing the 3 main effects this game has: slomo closeup, chopped up body parts and destructable cover.
Have been playing BIA:HH single player for a couple days now, everything runs very smoothly and have greate framerate.
Yesterday I got to a mission that's in the rain and there were some problems with graphics. For those who have the same problem with the same graphics card, or maybe any other ati card, you need to turn off Catalyst™ A.I. to fix this problem. The game should not slow down and you framerate will still be smooth, mine was at least.
Its okay to like multiple things...
Im an aspiring musician, but I love video games too.
Of course I feel guilty. "You should be practicing, keeping in musical form.. blah blah"
I dont know, I love games, but I feel like I should be sitting at the piano for hours at a time, not the xbox.

I'm a web developer and the main thing that's making me depressed when gaming is the thought that I could be spending this time practicing my photoshop or javascript skills :)

I feel guilty when I sit around and waste time browsing websites on the internet when I know I could be doing better things. At least gaming is productive.SlorgieNel
I think browsing the web is more productive than playing games. At least you can read some news news or some wikipedia articles
[QUOTE="temega"]I very often feel guilty and depressed when playing games. The reason is because I then think I'm wasting my time and could be doing more important things with it... It's funny though, I never feel/think this way when I watch TV the entire day for example.
Anyone else with the same problem?

I only feel like that when I play MMORPGs.
Why you think that is? Other people are saying only when they play single player games coz they feel so alone then :)
