So I can sign online and DL content and communicate with friends with no problem. I live in a dorm and my school has certain ports closed and will not open them because of security issues. I found out that the only reason Xbox360 works is because it only uses one port and it is mainly peer to peer networks. Is there anyway around this problem or a patch that can fix it. If not lets get something going to make sony change this around. I know im not the only one that lives in dorms that is having this problem. I just want to get this working before Haze comes out.
So I just boughtCOD4 about a week agoand then tried to play it online and i can not connect. It says downloading settings and then finding potential matches. I went online and I've read just about every forum there is out there.My internet works fine i can download and connect on other games but just not this one. I tried all the trouble shooting suggestions but still no luck. I am about to give up on this game even though i loved the single player mode and just go buy UT3 and see if I have more luck withthat.
