@jackamomo: Is that saying SEGA is a smaller dev? As I'd argue they're rather big and have a loyal following

Do you guys have a fave developer? Who you tend to like more than others - for me it was Bungie before Destiny came out, now I'm a big fan of CD Projekt Red?
Feel free to discuss here, but I'm also doing a research project on larger vs indie developers as part of my Masters - I'm not going to beg for responses, but I've got two short surveys (6 questions, mostly multiple choice) - one on a smaller indie dev, one on Blizzard and would super appreciate the help.

But do you guys think that smaller indie developers struggle to get the brand following larger devs do?
If you literally just want to walk around try Firewatch, it's gorgeous. But for a proper adventure I don't think you can beat the witcher series
I play mainly to hang out with friends, I used to really love narratives and exploring new worlds etc, but now I don't have the time - and really only want to play with other people.
When I get time I'm working my way through the last Witcher 3 DLC, but also playing a lot of Overwatch, a bit of PUBG, and recently some AOE2
2007 and early xbox years - Halo 3, Fable 2 - was when I really got into online play and communities, plus titles like that still have resonance with me personally
Geralt of Rivia easily, but that may just because of how attached you get to the choices you make - he reflects the player. That being said Jorge from Halo Reach wins as badass in my books
