If it wasn't an expansion there would be no 3.

LiquidShnake

Using this logic does this mean Gran Turismo 5 is an expansion of Gran Tursimo 5 Prologue? I mean, there's a 5 in both titles, right? It just has more tracks and cars....sounds like an expansion to me. ;)

Brave Fencer Musashi. Not the most popular game, but it was tons of fun. Also, I'd toss inXenogears.

[QUOTE="navyguy21" Was it desperate when sony did it last gen to M$, Nintendo, AND Sega??? How is it magically different this gen? Sony had all the exclusives the past 2 gens, and i bet it was fine with you because you got to play them, now that you dont have a 360 its "teh evil, desperate M$" people really need to grow the **** up!! Is it also desperate when sony buys studios and keep those games exclusive?? ot what about bioshock DLC??? or mirrors edge DLC?? or MGS4 exclusivity??? Or Heavy Rain??? come on man, you have a brain, and it wasnt made by sony:P.......................or is it??

Exactly! Either most people who feel MS is just being evil are too young to remember the days when Sony entered the console business or they lack all business sense.

Square was firmly entrenched in Nintendo's camp. That changed when Sony opened up the checkbook. This was the Sony business model it's first gen in the race...... strike exclusive deals or just outright acquire studios.

This helped them negotiate even more deals in the PS2 round.

But a funny thing happened between the PS2 and PS3, the very same thing that happened to Nintendo after SNES, they got arrogant about the competition. Thinking they were the biggest game in town and that publishers would simply take whatever deal was offered because they were Sony/Nintendo. Along comes the uptart company trying to sell their console, with an open checkbook. Suddenly, game devs/publishers don't need to just take the crap offer, they get to make their terms.

MS is making these deals because Sony will not. And it hurts Sony. Sure, MS is expending cash hand over fist, but a whole new Generation of gamers are growing up on a new console.... these gamers will favor the MS console brand in the future, just as some gamers favor the current Sony or Nintendo console.

Case in point, I have all 3 systems, my friend has a 360. He's had a PS1 and PS2, but because his son's friends all had 360s he got the 360. His son identifies gaming with the 360. Ask him about the PS consoles? LOL...he sounds like a Lemming fanboi.....even though he's NEVER played a PS console. He has no comparison to base his opinion on and has this unholy dislike of something he's never played. Next gen....I'm sure he'll want the Xbox whatever, simply because he knows it.

And should another company come in and start making deals for his favorite games to be on some console other than the Xbox?

Well, I'm sure he'll be posting here.....complaining that Sony/Nintendo/Sears Roebuck & Comp are evil companies for buying up exclusive deals. LMAO!!

Ok, I bought the 60gb Pro and borrowed the transfer kit from a friend.

Does the cable work with the 60gb? My experience over 2 hours last night says "NO".

I even spent about an hour on the phone with my new bestest friend at 1-800-4MYXBOX, LOL. The guy was clueless and even spent 20 mins talking with other support techs and supervisors.

I posted this same question over at IGN and another user said the same thing....he ended up using a 512mb memory unit to move all his stuff.

I wonder if a USB card reader would do the trick since I have a 4gb SD card and 3-4 transfers beats 16-20. Does anyone know the answer on the USB reader and the 360?

My PS3 has been running fine (component video/digital audio). Went to visit a friend and we hooked it up using his HDMI cable. When I got home I had to hard reset the system to get the video showing. I reset the settings to 480p, 720p, and 1080i (max my tv handles).

Now, when I pull up a demo or use the web browser on screen the top 2 inches of the picture is bending and kind of flickering. Just the top of the screen. I've tried reseting the video settings and elimiating different settings. The issue doesn't exist when I use 480p or 720p only when I'm using 1080i which is the max for my tv set. I used to have it set to 1080i.

Can anyone help?

I own all 3 systems, while I like the controllers for different reasons. The weight of the controller makes no difference, I turn rumble off on the 360....never really liked it, D-pad....hardly use it....ever...so not in a position to say which is the preffered D-pad, but I prefer the 360 for 2 reasons.

1) The offset sticks. Now, it's a very small thing, but given the size of my hands....the offset sticks are more comfortable

2) The actual sticks. I dislike how the PS3 sticks are rounded outward with a little texture. Maybe it's me, but my thimbs will start slipping off the sticks a lot more than on the 360 sticks...which are curved inward and have raised slots for grip.

Item 2 matters more than #1, I can play with either.....just would prefer sticks which aren't rounded out.
