Yeah. It's really racist. They call it that because they have all the sales, and black people are cheap, so they try to get them to buy things.

I figured it was named that since everyone is shopping at the same time which makes it a "Black" day since you're fighting to buy items that others want as well..don't really see how racism plays a part

racism doesn't fit into it, people are just ignorant idiots. Its also called green friday because of all the money retail chains rake in. (Or is it cause its racist against green people)

This really shows somethings are lost to history....sigh....It called "Black Friday" because it was the biggest shopping day of the year. When most stores got out the red (negative profits) and back into the black (positive profits) on the books.
