It's definitly not GoW2. I'm sorry but the story in Gears was just crap, and I'm not expecting any better from the sequel. even if it does, it really doesn't bring anything new to the table. wow, you can control giant monsters, **** Gears 1 was sort of cool because the cover system was revolutionary. If i had to say, it would be between Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3. Far Cry 2 is the most revolutionary and Fallout 3 is the Rpg/FPs hybrid. Anyone who has played Mass Effect knows what garbage the gameplay was. Combat was biggest piece of garbage i've played. a useless-cover system that worked half of the time, the mutant powers was just a waste of time, and completely unrealistic guns. at least in halo, a shotgun won't take out a guy 30 feet away.
any way, fallout 3's health's system doesn't look that great. and a lot of customization means that you have to give up something or another. Far Cry 2 is a straightup FPS with high-end PC graphics, awesome combat system, awesome day-night cycle, most in-depth map editor ever.. etc. Both games are very dynamic, i have to give props for that.
