I played both I'm not into the Witcher .

I just bought it bceause it was soo cheap on steam and because I read a few threads comparing it to Oblvion .

after playing it for a few days I can't see how this game is better.

Dark Messiah is just about the same as this game .

I only have a PC and "the witcher" plays like a console port like Boarderlands or RE5 console ports on PC .

the witcher plays like that.

I know what an RPG game is been playing them for a while after playing Oblvion it's impossible to take a step backwards like The Witcher.

I can live with the fact that there's no charater building but the lack of interaction with the envioremnt and the overall story on a railroad track style is just too outdated for me.

no I forget people lie theses are people who have the console version of the Witcher and don't even own Oblivion.

and I read thier comments and belived them.

get PC version Oblivion GOTY install a few mods like Deadly Reflexe's and Osuros Oblvion Overhaul orMidas Magic Spells of Aurum and Oblvions Combat system goes from great to completly Epic.

get the Hi-rez texture packs if your PC has ballz and the game looke even better.

tweak the config file a little if your PC has the big memeory ballz and game will run faster and smother .

there is no way you can go from a comepltely Free raoming RPG where your alowed to do whatever you want to a locked in a story plot game and think that's better ,

there's just no way.

I mean just the little things in Oblivion are great like making a zoomer build drinking Skooma and becoming a blinding fast drunken idiot that nobody can catch.

the PC mods catapult Oblvion light years ahead of just about everything still .

just go to youtube and watch a few vids of the PC version of Oblivion with Deadly Reflexe's mod or Midas Magic mod and tell me the Combat in Oblvion is lacking .

I haven't played the original version of Oblvion since I bought it a year ago.

I got thr Witcher for $13 off of steam so it's not that big a deal I still might finiish it but there is no way it's on the same level as Oblvion.
