This forum seemed to be the most relevant for my issue. Please forgive me if it is not.

Years ago, I kept my games collection on GameSpot. Unfortunately, the site then underwent some changes that made it ineffective as the repository for my games list, so I stopped.

I recently returned to the site to see if anything had changed. The good news is that there have been positive changes, and my games list is still there as I left it.

The bad news is that I can no longer figure out how to add particular versions of a game to My Collection. For example, I can add "Batman: Arkham Asylum" to my list, but I cannot figure out how to add specifically the PS3 version.

Is it possible to add a specific platform version of a game to My Collection? Or am I relegated only to being able to add the general game to my list?

Thank you all in advance for your help.

This topic reminds me of the people who thought Resident Evil 5 was racist because most of the zombies were black. Someone needed to remind them the game was set in Africa. >_>

Um, that game was crazy racial.

"Say, let's zip this T-virus halfway around the world so that you spend 99% of your time shooting coloreds in the face!"

Having the T-virus skip four other continents on its way to Africa was bad. Having the brave white Americans come in to save the day was a bridge too far.

@thecrypticodor: If you can find me a street named "Martin Luthar King Boulevard" anywhere in the United States, I'll give you a dollar.

I can play ALL my PS2 and PS1 games on my amazing playstation because it still includes the original hardware from the PS2 :)

All of it seamlessly and with more usb and memory card slots :)

Unfortunately they don't all work. The latest firmware update took away my ability to play the PlayStation version of Tomb Raider II, and I recall a couple of PlayStation 2 games that didn't work so well either. The backwards compatibility on the PlayStation 2 is much more reliable for both PSOne and PS2 games. If you care about playing legacy games, hang on to your old hardware.

It's not necessarily his connection that's the problem. As others have indicated the time of day can be a huge factor in your downloading speeds. If you're trying to grab the hot demo at the same time as everyone else, be prepared to wait.

Frankly, even downloading the GoW3 demo in 20 minutes is less than impressive if you've got 48 Mbps sustained downloading speed. It still suggests that you're constrained on the server side.

This is complete, utter nonsense on Sony's part.

Telling gamers to "wait a day" rather than issuing a real fix for the leap year problem (e.g. a firmware update) is ridiculous. Will this happen every year? Do I just have to take a day off from gaming when March 1, 2011, rolls around? Or will the problem be dormant and not strike until 2012, which really is a leap year that won't be treated properly?

I've dealt with Y2K and leap-year bugs in the past, and I can tell you that the only way to fix it is with an update. I reset the time on my PS3 this morning, logged on to the PlayStation Network, and after about 30 minutes of inactivity, it logged me out with the same 32-bit error code from yesterday (8001050F)! I was able to log back on immediately, but how long will this keep happening? I can only imagine the feelings of people who lost trophies over this garbage.

Fix the problem, Sony. And PS3 gamers need to stop giving Sony a pass so that the XBOX 360 gamers don't hurt our feelings. This problem is indefensible, and it needs to be fixed now!

Agreed. This was okay when I thought it was a temporary minor glitch, but it's starting to hinder my game management abillity. I haven't been able to move my games from my Wish List to my Collection or update (remove from) my Tracked Games List. I really wish we could get some official feedback on this.

The only thing that would be worse than this is if GameSpot shut down it's site and took my game lists with them.

I'm having the same problem. My long lists (Collection and Wish List) will not display completely. I've been trying to update them for days now.
