It's almost 4AM. I'm very very tired from working 12 hours, coming home to a little bit of drama at home and unboxing my new Xbox 360. That was about 12:30AM. In the 3 hours that elapsed I managed to learn the nuances of duck-and-cover fighting and completed Act 1 of the Campaign. I must say, this game is a great example of graphics and gameplay done right. I don't think any game could have provided as warm a welcome to the 360 than Gears. It was like a fuzzy, cute welcome mat that emitted soothing scents as I stepped on it and entered the home of my 360. I... must... sleep... and not spend more time tooling around the dashboard!
