It seems that Blizzard paired down the 40k uni and tailored it to a RTS design, then wrapped it in a story that worked for a game environment.
For how brutal and epic in scope the 40k uni is, I don't think DoW does the job. Something on the scale of Total War would be a lot more effective for conveying its grit and scope, even if the table top is just skirmish focused.

That would be awesome but it needs to be DoW/DoW II just 10 times bigger not Total War with DoW theme, that would suck, but who knows maybe Relic will make such a game when PCs will be able to withstand such a large extremely detailed scale.
I've always wished that Gas Powered Games would get the licence for Epic 40K, would be an awesome game.
But I think the scale in DoW1 was quite right for a Warhammer 40k game.
Warhammer 40k has some of the best lore of any game I know, it's so deep and so interesting. I kept reading the lore long after I stopped playing the game.
Starcraft lore and factions = boring in comparison.
Thats odd when you think about it.. Most good match makign services I get into games much faster then dedicated.. Often times due to me waiting in line to get on the server.sSubZerOo
Well I can't even get into a game of AVP MP, it searches for anygame for about 5 minutes, gives up and then puts me in a game by myself. Really hoping they release the dedicated servers soon.

Ok I know a lot of PC gamers hold a grudge against Modern Warfare 2 but how the hell did it cheat anybody out of money? I bought it and got exactly what I was expecting to get.
What were you expecting to get? Overpriced,unfinished,lacking any care about pc gamers?Face it the game is a huge flop and is generally utter rubbish
Well I knew how much the game was going to cost before I bought it by looking at the price tag. I also knew about the changes to the PC version as would any other CoD fan, the game works quite well and comes with 3 sperate game modes and seems like a pretty complete package to me. On top of that they gave the PC about as much care as they did the other 2 platforms and while I didn't like their choice I can't exactly argue with their logic to be quite honest. After all this, the game sold very well on PC and gets around 100,000 players every day, not exactly a flop.
Now I ask again, How exactly did they cheat anyone out of their money?
