CONTROLS: Both accelerometer and touchscreen are implemented, for example, the skateboarding game uses the accelerometer to get up speed on the ramp after which the touchscreen is used to perform the airbourne tricks. DIFFICULTY: There are 3 difficult levels to select from in the options menu. Each game does appear to get progressively harder the more you play. For example the keepy uppies game is mayhem from about the fourth play onwards. Race games likewise add more laps and speedups/slowdowns the more times you replay. GRAPHICS: All the sporting events and characters are presented in full 3D of a high standard and level of detail with good framerate. FINAL THOUGHTS: Obviously released to coincide with Halloween and the Cartoon Networks scheduled showing of Capser's Scare School cartoons. This game provides excellent fun for the holidays and appeals to both adults and children alike. marks 8.5 out of 10. OVERVIEW: Olympic events consist of activities that are often derived from hunting and combat skills. Over time these practices have evolved into a variety of competitive sports that include Archery, Pistol Shooting and Free Rifle. GAMEPLAY: Olympic style sports, featuring 3 types of shooting events, Archery, Rapid Fire Pistol and Running Target Rifle, 3 difficulty levels; Professional, Advanced and Rookie, 2 game modes; Quick Event and Tournaments. CONTROLS: Aiming is simple; slide your finger on a smaller target board shown in the bottom-right corner and as you move you will see the targeting cross-hair move. When ready lift your finger and the arrow or bullet will fire. DIFFICULTY: The 3 disciplines require different skills and tactics to succeed and make it onto the World Records. All events take into account the prevailing winds, steadiness of hand and accuracy of aim. The computer controlled competitors play well and it will take a few tries before you start to better them. GRAPHICS: The game's graphics are some of the best you'll find on the iPhone and iPod Touch. The menus are nicely designed, using smooth swipe motions to make a choice. The graphics throughout the entire game are excellent and enhance the game's experience. FINAL THOUGHTS: Triple Shot Sports is a great game; the graphics, game-play and development are all superbly done. If you are a fan of Olympic-style games, or shooting games in general, you'll really like Triple Shot Sports. At $2.99 it's money well spent.
