And the answer is simple...
Sony doesn't want anything to steal the thunder of MGS4 right now.
So I'm guessing that once MGS4 is released on June 12th, we should get big updates on all these games. The fact that Insomniac will release Resistance 2 gameplay footage on June 12th is a taste of things to come :)

I have a 40 gigs and I also sold off my PS2 when i got it.
Reason being... there are enough good games on the PS3 to keep me busy and I already played a lot of the best games of the previous generation. So I don't really need the BC and quite frankly... I don't think you're gonna miss it much either.
your not gonna like this but you have to hear it from somewhere or someone and im glad to enlighten you.no offence but sony, microsoft, nintendo dont care if your loyal to them. its a business and they are in this business to make money. i tried the competition just to get an idea of what they are all about and i like thier business as well so they are getting my money too no loyalty just gaming services i need that both console can offer meswizzlar
I couldn't diagree with you more.
Every business, gaming or otherwise, is built on gaining consumer loyalty.
You are right in saying that a business exists to make money... but every business also knows that the money rolls in when you have a loyal customer who makes the REPEAT purchase after the initial purchase. Take the example of the TC, he thought the Xbox was not good and stuck to Sony. How much business can Microsoft expect from him now? And how much has Sony made off him?
Every company knows that consumers are not idiots and they have a choice and more importantly, they are WELL AWARE of the choice. In gaming, its even more critical because gaming is still niche compared to other forms of media and most gamers do a lot of research before going in for any gaming related product. If you don't give them the best product, the best deal and the value for his money, he will just take his business to the competitor.
Why do you think Marketing is so important now? Their major function is not initiating a customer but to make him a CONSUMER of the brand. That's the only way to survive.
[QUOTE="insomniac_dog"]Isn't there an Elena in Uncharted... are you mixed up or is there a Folklore Elena as well?cmpepper23
There's an Elena in Folklore as well.
I would say Nariko and Drake.
The girl in Folklore in Ellen and not Elena. Close... but not quite :)
Oh and my pick... Captain Quark
[QUOTE="hillelslovak"][QUOTE="wizzardjeff"]the last time i read a review from them, they spoiled the whole story of the gamenousemercenary
Yep, they ruined the whole story for me. Thanks alot PSU. Cant you review a game without spoiling everything about the game? Dammit.
What review ruined the storyline for you?
PSU's review of Dark Sector. I don't think the reviewer knew when to stop...
Spolier Alert for PSU's review of Dark Sector
It's already released this side of the world... its a very good game... basically all about collecting echos by getting around the levels... and the only control you have is the camera... very different and unique both in terms of style, presentation and gameplay and with the ability to create your own levels adds a ton of replayability.
I've been excited for this game since two years ago when I first heard about it. I played the game for a couple hours and realized how lazy the dev team must have gotten (or rushed by the publisher) partially through the development process. I was really disappointed with this game after I had initially read how it was supposed to turn out.

read those 2 pages and you'll understand why everybody should be disappointed. It's an ok game but I don't feel its worth my $60.
sold it on amazon for $55

Read this preview and yes.. they have taken a lot out of the final build which would have probably made the game more interesting.
That said I still think its a solid game. It does what it sets out to do.. namely.. you cannot survive without co-op tactics at any point, and the game stays true to the formula at all times. Atleast.. it has so far. And of course, the possibilities are endless while playing with another person.
So yes.. I would recommend this game
