Wow, I am so glad that I am not such a 'serious gamer' where I can play an excellent game like the new Tomb Raider (and by the way, I'm 42 years old and fondly remember the originals along with Pong and Space Invaders in the arcade) and not get my panties in a Gordian knot over 'it looks too much like Uncharted' or 'there are a few parts that are like [game X] so it sucks!' TR is a classic series because it was the first of its kind and I would argue potentially pulled from the original Prince of Persia on the PC. Does that make it bad or better? Neither. TR13 is good because it's good. Uncharted is also good because it was in turn a leap from the TR series which had begun to languish. A car built in 2013 is much the same as a car from 1969 but much improved - still would like a 1969 Camaro SS though. And just because someone doesn't agree with you or feels differently about a game, does not make them stupid or fanboys; calling someone out because of freedom of opinion and speech does nothing but show you to be immature and unintelligent so grow up.

@BigDawg Agree wholeheartedly. If I play ME3 multiplayer, purchase a kit and get an incredible upgrade that I don't want, it sits there. If I play KoA and find a great sword, but use chakrams, it goes to waste. For the same cost of a game purchase, if you choose to, you get the ability to actually make money on unwanted items or make it a cottage industry. If you don't, then ignore it. No pain, no pain. Nothing suspicious or wrong about it. They saw an opportunity which was already being exploited by third-party sites and integrated it into the next game. Brilliant tactics and idea (presuming that it works) even if bots and basement boys fill the AH with epics on Day One. People getting worked up over this need to rethink their logic.

Lots of things to love about the game - conversations, interesting companion story arcs, faster combat (warming up to it) and style - but after playing many hours, I agree with many of the criticisms: reuse of maps and locations (amateur), choppy framerates even during cutscenes, lack of focus with the main story (I still don't know what the 'big story' is) and the innumerable side quests with little to show for them. I can't say whether I like DAO or this better as they are very different games, but I am leaning towards DAO for now. We'll see when I finish DA2 if that remains the same.
