This totally defeats the argument "the 360 is cheaper than the PS3" ive heard of people running out on their warranty and red lights, then they have to pay $400 for a new 360.

They spend $800 and $50 for live, HD-DVD not included, hdmi not included. All of a sudden the PS3 is not so expensive, huh!~

The PS3 is cheaper if you use LOGIC, and are a RATIONAL, FORWARD-LOOKING PERSON. Most people here, and in the world, are not rational, forward thinking people. Else everyone'd be a investment millionaaire.

If things don't change soon, Nintendo will blow away the competition and destroy Sony and kill Microsoft every so slowly untill Nintendo is the only console left. It actually would be alot better that way! You wouldn't have to buy multiple systems and all the game swould come out for your system and everyone would be happy (besides the guys at Microsoft and Sony)

P.S I'm not a fanboy of any Console, I just go wiht the one that looks like the most fun.

reliability > price.....for me at least,i want to get the most out of a system and i dont have the patience to keep sending in a system, even with a warrenty. Broman6015

Agreed. Even when the Gamecube was cheap compared to the xbox and Ps2, it still had lackluster sales.

It's all about the games, though.

Sony should just back out while they can. The PS3 sucks hard. I own a Wii, and I have to say, I really enjoy it, yeah so it cant put out graphics like the other two can, but in a recent research finding, the graphic capabilities are pretty close to what the 360 can put out, if only publishers would spend some effort in the games. The Wii rocks, 360 ok, PS3 sucks, end of storyLordLanz

By then guys, gaming won't be exclusive to a series of systems.

And it might seem strange but if Microsoft does have huge popularity in the future, than Nintendo and Sony have no choice but to work together.... again.

Heck I hear even Nintendo is attempting to buy Sega-Sammy, so who knows.

Give in?... Um technically we're getting most of your multiplatform titles, and we have our own exclusives. I don't think there's a giving in there, unless you have an insane interest in Halo and paying for online.

I haven't met many people who weren't completely satisfied with their purchase of a PS3 after receiving several defective 360s. I think that'll tell you more about who's giving in. Of course, this is merely an unbacked claim.

Completely agree. The 360 has done an amazing job at locking up the hardcore gamers but it doesn't have very much in the way of appealing to a wide demographic.
