Nah, Square had a statement that they weren't supporting Wii's Virtual Console to fit their "business plan." I can imagine this is the same deal with Sony as well.

Also here's the thing though.... Dirge of Cerberus at the end of the credits, has a new enemy appear with a gigantic wing. So uh... hint much? Crisis Core seems to have more do with what's happening with that enemy's past. I'd expect another sequel game.

They're going to remake/port it. They always do. It'll just be a long time. Look forward to FFXIII instead for now.

Well I have yet to hear a great longlasting 3rd party game coming from the Wii's side. Which is kinda disappointing. I mean, RE4 wiimake.... really? Did they really have to do that? I mean... at least Nights is finally an original 3rd party game (albeit a Saturn game franchise, but still).

You also have difference in the market targets.

So you essentially expected a 600 hardcore console  to outsell a 250 casual console. Congrats are "teh winnar." Casual always wins the bet, but here's the thing. It's all about the long term outcome. The only chance Wii has is if developers decide to put EFFORT (not I capped it so this is important, yes I'm talking to you Nintendo 3rd party) into their games.

When games on the Wii look worse than the gamecube.... we have a problem. It seems like a fast cash-in. I mean I love my Wii (chuckle), but in all seriousness Nintendo needs to find a way to secure a good third party exclusive. 

PS3 has these long-awaited epic third party games.

Nintendo says: Gamers don't like epic games.

Erm... last time I checked God of War was an epic millions selling franchise... so... yea... not buying that.

I'm looking forward to Brawl.. but... you know where are the games? It's about the games. Where's that epic FPS that has that nice quality polish to it? Or that epic RPG you're waiting to long to have? I mean, even 360 has that.

FFXIII, MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Killzone, are just the cusp of the games that fit most of MY interests. I can't wait to play some games on the wii, but the passing day shows that that console wants to mostly appeal to the person that isn't me.

I usually have to wander around the store a bit before I notice where the PS3 section is in my local Gamestop. They really couldn't make it any smaller without removing it entirely. The PS2 still takes up the majority of the wall space. When I do find it there's nothing to look at. POS3 FTL.

Yah, thats what i meant. when i said "sold". The system will get a price-drop, the only question is how much. Sony fans didn't want two models, so they took away one. Sony has to cater to what there consumers want, since there not leading the home console inudustry.

Why keep hoping on a price drop? Obviously people are still buying the thing at such a high cost. People weren't buying the $500 version! Weird huh? I don't think price was ever an issue. Just with people who can't afford it, or have a problem with it. Most of the "POS"3 bashing is just fanboy wars, and it does leak outside the forums to business' jobs, stores. But overall if people want it, they will get it. No matter how much a "POS" the system is.

People were buying the 500$..but consumers wanted one console. So they phazed it out. For a gaming caonsole too expensive and not only that, when the price is decreased more consoles will be sold and it will become more affordable making it more appealing to the mass market. Not only will it be more appealing to the mass market but to developers and game designers as well. PS3 doesn't even half the amount of games out or in production as 360.
