With how dumbed down everything got over the last 10 years as gaming became hip with the non-gamers that want to fit in on social media, and how much stupider each generation is, I expect gaming to be pretty much phone game-like by then. Tap tap tap...

I don't play consoles much these days, but PS4 is the superior system. Had my Xbox One for a month and sold it on ebay. The Halo Collection was great, and so was Sunset Overdrive, but Halo 5 ended up being garbage, and the third party games were inferior to the PS4 versions since the PS4 has better graphics, so the only reason to own a XBO over a PS4 is the exclusives, and those have been lacking, especially since PS4 has Bloodborne. Plus Microsoft is just a rotten corporation. Look what they did with the Fable IP before they canceled that awful game, look what they're doing with Rare, they just buy up and sit on old IP's people love and want more of while pumping out sequels of once good games.

No, PC is still the king like it is every gen.

PC is able to play old games still, consoles have very poor backwards compatibility.

Emulators for the old console and handheld games.

VR mods for all kinds of RPG's including MMO's and old games including Daggerfall.

Now if you're talking about just consoles, then yeah, Playstation wins like they do every gen, because that's the most popular system in Japan so it gets most of the Japanese RPG's developed just for it, and since Playstation is big in the US it gets the western RPG's too.
