No, I generally enjoy open world games.

I just have an insane backlog im working very slowly at.

To make things worse is that im replaying old games. This week I completed Z (Really old PC strategy game) and I plan to play Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2 again very soon.

Ah, backlogs. Don't let it take you over. You don't want video games to feel like work. At some point, I stopped bothering with getting to some games. It kinda felt like work. I *need* to get this game over with.

Eh, I don't like that.

I have never heard of Z. It does sound old :p

Z is really cool and very different from any other strategy game you might have played, you should definitly try it if you like the genre. Its on GOG.

To add to your thread, Katamari is a pretty insane franchise.

I didnt even complete GTA4 or 5 for my shame. I started GTA4 like 3 times.

SR is on even lower priority for me right now but maybe someday.

All my points are just from impression I got from people who played it and videoclips I saw. You can ignore them if you dont think they are valid

Is it because you don't dig open world games?

Nah, it's cool, man. There are people out there that don't like certain games. Not gonna sue them for it. Subjectivity is a nasty mistress that likes to spank her subjects.

Totally fine with that, btw.

You want to deny the Goddess Bayonetta, SonicNextGen2?

Also, dat Hyrule Warriors. We Musou fellas need to stick together.

But the PS4 will get many more musou games.

OP do you want only one console this gen or are you planning to own both at the end?

Maybe as a western game but some japanese games are the weirdest and craziest by far. (Which is a good think in my eyes)

SR humor reminds me of some b-rate movies and is not to my liking.

Good point, actually. Japan is like the Joker in a card game. No way you're jumping over that.

Ah, that's not good, thegreatgeneral. You tried out SR4, or are you just not interested?

@SonicNextGen2: The PS4 is best used as a main plattform. It gets all relevant multiplats, the best japanese support (with exclusive franchises like Tales and Persona) like you stated and of course the exclusives from Sony themselves.

I would suggest to buy a PS4 now to use it as a main (of course if you dont want or have a capable PC) and the WiiU at the end of the gen.

I mean you will lose some of the online community on the WiiU in smash and mk8 but most nintendo games are singleplayer.

2015 should be a very good year for PS4.

For me its the PS4 easily

Im absolutely hyped about Bloodborne, Deep Down, Unchated 4, Rime and The Order 1886 (The Order 1886 less so than the rest)

Then WiiU with Zelda and Bayonetta

And last the xbone with Scalebound (Phantom Break is no looking too hot and I was dissapointed with Alan Wake)

edit: I meant Quantum break, of course

@lawlessx: Okay, I wanted to suggests this next anyway.

I think its like a testrun for the engine. Sony is working with them on the engine and I dont think it has a real huge budget.

Sony gets an exclusive and Capcom gets deep technical support.

I was talking about the trailer being misleading and only the trailer.

In your first post, you specifically stated it was supposed to be realtime gameplay, which is wrong. They outright told its an engine trailer. Now you are saying how they presented the engine is the real culprit, you are moving the goal post.

But okay even then I still disagree, many shots were from ancles that clearly showed it was not gameplay even if two or three shots had a fake as **** HUD. The current trailers are very close to the first trailer minus the handcrafted environments. I think they could replicate the first trailer ingame if they made the game cinematic.

@lawlessx: Actually no, they said it was a tech demo or engine demonstration, something along those lines never did they state it was gameplay.

Deep Down is one of my hyppest games for the PS4 and im not turned of about the F2P aspect if handled right aka everything unlockable with grinding.

I mean seriously, there are no Dungeon Crawlers that play and look like this.

That first trailer was designed to appear to look like gameplay (ex:had a HUD).

It was created to be misleading.

How misleading can it really be if they said right before showing of the trailer.

They talk specifically about tech and engines. You can watch the part I just searched from 1:28:00 at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l15nv-09h5c

So yeah, I disagree that they were trying to mislead people.
