Are people really expecting the WiiU to stay ahead or are you guys just temporaly celebrating?

I cant see the WiiU to stay above the PS4 for very long. Maybe next year or at the latest when FFXV releases the situation will be complettly different.

The real masterrace is to own the platforms you want to own and to play the games you want to play.

I will not own 4 consoles again like last gen its complettly overkill even without touching my huge backlog.

I know that they said that but I dont really understand whats holding the PS4 version back, the GPU alone should be able to push enough pixels to bring it to 1080p. Again assuming the console versions have parity in frame rate and effects.

Maybe the framerate is really bad on the xbone version and not on the PS4 version. Then I would understand that they would keep it at 900p and to stabilize the frame rate at locked 30fps.

The 360 sold about 1.6 millions in japan and the PS3 about 10 millions iirc.

The PS4 sold to customers in the first week about 500k and thats 5% of the PS3 LTD.

Im expecting a lower percentage for the xbone, about 3 to 4% seems right so about 50 to 60k.

Why not? the PS4 should be able to archieve 1080p if the xbone is curently at 900p, of course assuming if the versions have parity in frame rate and effects.

Thats because Sony is not in panic mode. They have their plan and they are sticking to it.

MS doing 180 every week and cutting price left and right is a sign of desperation because they cant seem to move the xbone. Look at the last E3 they announced most likely 2016 games with with CGI trailers for scalebound, Crackdown and Phantom dust. I dont think we saw a single 2016 game from Sony yet. Then at Gamescom MS only revealed a indie game "Screamride" I think it was called, while Sony put out one of the best Gamescom confences ever. Their timed moneyhat of Tomb raider a winter 2015 game shows us they themselves have nothing really to offer that could impress many.

Think about it we still dont know what the majority of Sony first party is bringing to the PS4, because Sony does not have problems moving the PS4.

You know why people and I included or not worried about Sony and the playstation?

Because Sony does not put all of their money into one basket. Basic economics and its called having different devision just like MS has them and unlike Nintendo that does not have them.

Sony has profitable devisions like Playstation, Insurance, (Sonys biggest moneymaker) Smartphones etc. and they have unprofitable devision like their TV and PC (Which they sold recently) sectors . So if the worst thing happens they will just cut off unprofitable devision and continue with the profitable ones. Simple logic, right?

On the other hand we have MS with their huge profits coming from company services (servers and the like) and declining Windows and office licences. The xbox devision is unimportant in their eyes but ate and still eats billions in the last 14 years without ever breaking even as far as I know. Just last quarter they lost 400m even with accounting the profits from the 360 and xblg.

So tell me which devision has a better chance of getting cut? The devision that bring in money even if it is not much but contributes to companys overall profit or the devision that is completely unimportant in the eyes of the company while being a moneysink for the past 14 years.

You just made a thread about a graphical comparison between PS4 and PC from Alien Isolation, so why are you here belittling people and trying to get on a high horse?

So hung up on semantics. Please provide us the official term how to descripe the difference with 1920x800 and 1920x1080.

I must say herms all in all are really at the buttom in terms of actually arguing when they are not the clear winner.

I have no Idea why you would even ask this question. Nobody here has to answers to anybody other than mods that can ban you. I just think that if you or anybody else for that matter try to shit on other people just for semantics even though you excactly know what he means, you should at least try to correct him instead of calling him a child.
