Turns out, I hadn't updated my netflix account with my new credit card. Of course, I had to update the credit card info when I logged into netflix the first time I tried to (re)activate my xbox, but (as it turns out) it takes about 30-60 minutes or maybe longer for the change to, I guess, trickle down to the streaming service.

I will say, I'm officially impressed. I called Netflix customer service at 10pm pacific time, only waited on hold for about a minute, was greeted by a friendly, knowledgable representative who spoke perfect english, and was given an quick and consice answer. Way to go, Netflix!!!

I just acquired this problem too. I was playing the new DLC for The Maw and all of a sudden the xbox froze. I restarted and decided to watch a movie, but on starting up netflix I was told I needed to register my xbox (it's been registered for several months). I registered and it let me into my queue, but when I tried to play something it said I needed to register. I rebooted the xbox, same deal. I went ahead and registered AGAIN. It took me back to my queue. I tried to play a TV show episode and it said I had to register.

This is madness!
