Ill start with saying that i have a ps3. But honestly back when i was considering a console i was going to chose xbox 360 for one big reason. HALO. But then i heard my friend talk about how he got red rings and then sent it in. His next xbox360 got red rings in all of 5 seconds. I did some research and found that this was a comon thing. Plus when you consider that ps3 supports blue ray makes my choise make scence. So i got the the MGS bundle and scince i used to have a ps2 i was glad of the backwards compatibility. So thats why i have a ps3. I didn't get the wii because while it does have some good games i find my old gamecube more playable. Noone call me a fanboy, i used to have an xbox and i still play 360 games at my friends houses. (I will not give clarafication on the used too part, lets just say i involved my sister and a 7 foot drop).
