My pops is the reason i got into hip hop, he grew up in the golden era and hip hop is the only genre he ever listened to. To this day we have in depth conversations about hip hop artists from back then to today, it's kinda cool to have someone to talk to that actually lived during that era.
My mom will pretty much listen to "Billboard Top 40 Hip Hop" i guess is the right way to describe it.
title says it all Ortiz new mixtape features him spitting over clas.sic hip hop joints
havent listned yet but i have no doubts this will own
I just discovered this brilliant idea and I figured where else to post it than a hip hop/videogame board. Some of them hit and some of them are just plain awful
My favorite is the Aesop Rock/Goron Village mix

Go to school in Michigan?
Nah, near Chicago, Northwestern University
For real - thats sick. I'm down in the city at DePaul its aight. Know any hip hop kids up thur? I know a few MCs up there.
Yeah, you heard of J. Loonz he hails from St. Paul, Minnesota and he just dropped a pretty dope mixtape
I know most of the hip hop cats around here, and because of it I'll probably get to hang w/Big Sean after his show here on Sunday.
 no way - yeah I know J.Loonz. He went to high school with my cousin (they were pretty good friends as well) and I have known him for a minute now. Small world haha. Actually I'm pretty sure he is gonna be on an upcoming mixtape I'm putting out.
How was the Big Sean show? Wasn't Solange there to or somehting?
We got Twista rolling through campus next week - doing some promo stuff at the college radio station I work at and a little meet and greet.
The Big Sean show was cool, Solange was the headliner but she was real late so Sean performed a few extra songs for free. He seemed like a really cool guy and I've been bumping his new mixtape pretty hard.
Loonz is actually doing a pre-show today for the Ludacris concert too.
This should shut up the Relapse naysayers. We Made You is clearly only for pop appeal, and we can expect much more from the album
awful single choicefat_rob
co-sign, but I'm glad he isn't sellling out with his single. If you like CH, he's basically letting you know he's gonna keep coming with the same ****. If you don't like it, it's not for you.
