I like the second one, what type of gaming are you going to be doing? I think it should handle most, maybe not at the highest settings but should get the job done for the most part aslong as you didn't want to run crysis at max settings

Out of these choices I will break down the top two.
Prototype - Ok, first off this game is a very good one. It is a comic-based action adventure that is very fast paced. The open world, though makes this one for people motivated enough to keep up on the intense action, and this game is difficult. I played through the entire game and felt like I achieved so much from a game, it had a pretty decent story and the action and how I had to pay close attention to what was going on made me feel rewarded. Overall, if you whine and complain when you die, this game is not for you.
Wolverine - This game was fun overall, it was action based and it was very bloody and violent. This game had horrible boss battles until the very end, you fight the same boss everytime until the last 3 boss battles that are the best of the entire game. I liked the idea of upgrading and ripping off limbs in a screaming-I-am-so-angry fashion. Overall, this game was enjoyable but lacked something..it just felt lacking.
Overall I would say if you are a gamer in need of a good game of these two I would say prototype but rememver what I said, if you don't like a challenge don't play it.
My bday is feb 10th and have had a few games release on my bday but cannot quite recall names, but I remember Dante's Inferno came out the day before my birthday and that was a big plus for me.
24 here and when I played my first final fantasy I believe I was in like 3rd or 4th grade, I never truly got into FFVII until my friends kept trying to beat Ruby weapon and failed and that type of difficulty had me intrigued, I was more of a Vandal Hearts and Ogre Battle fan for the playstation.
Final Fantasy 10 and 12 revived me of the series and 9 was just plain fun to me, I bought this game hands down because I don't let reviews shake me at all, if I truly look at the game and think that I want to play it or wonder about it, I will just go ahead and play it and I have been dying to play a good solid rpg in years.
Some have too high of a bar for the Final Fantasy series and people like me just have an open mind and want to see what they want me to experience through each adventure, but I just bought it and haven't played much of it yet so I cannot say if I like it or not, going through the first part of the battle I almost feel like running through a dumbed down version of the beginning of FFX but we will see, I won't be so quick to judge this game as it always holds its suprises.
I bought the slim on launch and have noticed at times the fans or whatever it may be is making such a loud noise that it almost ruins bluray movies when they become quiet even with the volume up a lot, and today my ps3 slim ate my bluray of bourne identity, it put a huge laser scratch in it and now the bluray will not play at all, kind of wanting to get rid of it and just try to find an old backwards compatible, this system has been nothing but problems for me, albeit probably one bad version in a ton of good ones, but it has gotten me frustrated.
I still cherish the gamecube RE upgraded games plus the prequel RE 0, I wish that more people would appreciate that we don't want to be handed the same quality game now that Hdtv's are a standard now and all those old games just appear ugly to this new generation of tvs...it can't be that much work to smooth it up or even hell upgrade it completely and resell it for 20-30 bucks, i'd buy it if it were in full HD with smooth graphics.
The big thing I always think and say is this - I am 24 now and when I was younger I did not have reviews and even if there were reviews I did not care I played what made me happy and what I myself as an individual enjoyed. There are so many different things out there that cater to people and if you are pulled into this game like I am, then just go for it, it's your money who cares don't let others make your own decisions.
I honestly would wait for FFXIII but if you can't wait, there are games like Valkyrie Chronicles and of course Dragon Age is a good pick, I would also say Fallout 3 and Oblivion are huge RPG's that you will be playing for a long time, if you like more of a jrpg element then I would say Eternal Sonata, the story is wacky but the battle system isn't bad, it actually becomes an addicting game the more you play it, as a good rpg does :)
for one: this is a stupid thread and should be taken down.
and for those that do not know, final fantasy was made because they were basically putting all of their money together to create their last game, the company was reaching its final days and thus was called "Final Fantasy" and it was such a huge hit they kept it coming, and they kept it going because of us the fans, we made final fantasy keep going.
If you are against it, dont play it, dont post stupid forum posts about it, forget about it.
For those who care, we buy the games we care about the story we enjoy every second playing the game and that is the kind of loyalty the gaming community needs and deserves and if you are against it then just shut up and go enjoy the games you love, gaming is all about freedom and expression so just enjoy it.
