The announcing is not better, it's still the normal radio announcer unfortunately. I'll be plugging my ipod into the 360 and just letting that play instead.

Edit: More on the game though, the mechanics and animations and control seem much much better. Create a Team is back though you'll have to chose to get rid of another team in place for your new one. In franchise you can relocate teams I believe. I'm trying to remember everything Fred (staff member at Sportsgamer.com) said. I think he said in Superstar mode you can import a NCAA Campus Legend or you can use an existing player.

One thing that really excites me and impressed me in NCAA08 was all the defensive control you're given.

I'm excited to see how all of the Player weapons come into play. I'm hoping that since EA built in a counter to every weapon that that will keep them from being abused. Problem is, if you don't know how to counter a weapon it's going to be hard to keep someone from overusing one.

Bush's speed is 98, acceleration is 100.

I don't know if it's overhyped, but I'm damn excited about it. It looks great and if it plays anything like NCAA08 but with the usual Madden/NFL adjustments then I'll be very pleased.
