I started losing interest years ago. It's become more of a collecting thing for me now. It got to the point where I had over 20 games sitting in the wrapper when I realized maybe I'm just not into like I used to be.

I think when developers started making games exclusively for hyperactive, mainstream players I fizzled out. They butchered all my favourite RPG franchises one by one. When "action" took over every genre I gave up.

Sometimes I like the option of chilling out and taking my time, or even the simple act of being able to walk away for a few minutes. Those elements have been for the most part lost. Especially in console gaming.

Nowadays I get my fix from PC franchises like the Civ games, and get the thrills I crave at times out of my Wii U.

It's tough when it happens. I've been struggling with the feeling of losing my oldest and favorite hobby for years. But things change. I'm not willing to force myself to swallow what they're making these days so I'm pretty much out.

I'm never going to stop gaming completely. But all I know is that the way things are now in the industry for the most part, I'm not digging it.

I'm getting it for sure. It's basically a new Yoshi's Island with a yarn theme. Sounds good to me.

The videos I've checked out look really good, and even the lowest review (currently 6.0 from Gamespot) had a lot of good things to say. Honestly, most of the major critical complaints fell completely flat with me. I think I know exactly what to expect from YWW, and will be there day 1.

That one you saw at TRU would be like spotting a unicorn in the wild. The one nearest my place only had received 2 of them. I never even got to see one on the shelf.

Re1 had the best setting for my tastes. 2 was amazing and is also a classic, but RE1 takes it just because of the mansion setting. It's a tough call between the two of them though. 3 just didn't feel right to me. Nemesis is cool and all, but the game just felt empty or something. I wasn't feeling the charisma on that one.

Just for the heck of it I searched Amazon and apparently Toad is getting a second release, scheduled to hit June 18.

I googled a bit to see if this was already common knowledge, but couldn't find anything so I thought I'd tell you guys in case you hadn't heard.

I'm pretty excited. This was the last one I "had" to have for my collection. Any other ones I pick up after this is just icing on the cake.

So ya, June 18th for anyone looking for a Toad amiibo.

Just recently announced was a special collectors edition of Fallout 4, with a Pip-Boy that you can actually wear on your wrist. It works by encasing your smart phone into it and using the screen.

According to an article I just read it's been listed on Amazon for $120 (US).

So who's going to get this? I'm honestly undecided, but I might just do it.

I'd like to see Nintendo announce that a new Metroid game was in the works for Wii U. That or a new Vs Capcom game would be great.
