So Gamespot pulled my avatar for "being offensive"

also, to say again, if it is so offensive WHY THE HELL HAVE I HAD IT FOR 4 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEM,

9/10 people will lol, 1/10 people dont have a sense of homour

EDIT: I've since put the avatar back up, its my hope that the moderators can use a bit of common sense and take the joke, move on to taking down actual offensive content

yep, thats right, i saw a psx in the shops for....wait for it....$30, so i just thought, bugger it, and got one, i've dusted off my ye olde psx games and i've been enjoying getting back to basics, they might not have eye-popping graphics but LAPD:future cop is still a kick ass game

i put a post about NAS round 2, so ill post about seaford last year before i post abouttodays comp

SEAFORD CUP 2006

I remeber it like it was yesterday, i had just competed in my first ever NAS and was looking foward to the Ishinryu only comp, it was also going to be my first fighting comp, needless to say, i was s***ing myself, i got there expecting to be fighting people my age and belt...and i was horrified to learn that i was the youngest in my division.........BY AT LEAST 15 YEARS!!!!, every single person could have ripped my head off with there pinky finger, i wasnt looking forward to my first (and maybe last) fight.

After ages of little kiddies divisions, it was the Adult Kata division, the judges asked me if i was sure i wanted to verse the oldies, i say yes but i was thinking no... So i did my Kata and managed to get though to the final, my opponent was maybe a foot taller and one belt above, he was a scary tall green belt, we both chose to do the same kata (pinan-sono-ichi) and we started, i tried not to look at him doing his kata and focused on my own, it was he longest 30 seconds of my life, we finished at the same time and waited for the judges desicion...........the head judge gave the green belt the win.....BUT THE OTHER 2 GAVE ME THE WIN, i bowed, shook my opponents hand, and got my first medal for karate.

we had a little break before the fighting would begin, my mum went our for a smoke at one point and overheard the green belt i just beat saying he hoped he would fight me for the gold medal in sparring, i didnt let it get to me and keeped warming up.

the first round came, i would be fighting a yellow belt 15 years older than me, we started and i went in with a punch, but he came in aswell and i coped one in the nose, he got a warning for excessive contact, but did that stop him, nooooooo, as sound as we restarted, he punched my in the nose again.....he got another warning and i was awarded a point.. i was pissed now and when i came in, i scored, we got a good fight going and i won, 4-2.

But my day wasnt over, the green belt that wanted to kill me also won so it was me and him in the final....gulp......
we stepped on the map, bowed and shook hands, as soon as we started he came straight off the mark at me, ibroke line out to the side and punched to his midsection, before i knew what i did, i was winning. he got a kick in and got ahead 3-1, he tried again, (6 points orhighest in a min and a half wins) but i got out to the side and punched him in the back 3 POINTS, when the next round started, i moved back and started to run down the clock, but he was too fast and came forward with a HUGE kick, i managed to just get out of the way and set a kick of my own to his other leg, he went down and i came in with a punch to the head, 3 POINTS, i won 7-3 againts an angry green belt whowanted to kill me andwas twice my size and age, for the next couple of weeks i earned the nickname "the giant slayer"

a few weeks later i won the inagural COMPEDITOR OF THE YEAR AWARD and the way im going this year, i might just in it 2 times ina row,

i have to 2 comps coming up on the 21st and the 29th, the first is the National All Styles round 3 and i will be fighting black belts again like i did at round 2. i have a story about that

ME AT NAS ROUND 2

so there i was, after making a mistake in Kata 20 minutes earlier, this was my only chance to prove myself against the black belts i would be fighting, every compeditor in my division had at least 5 belts advantage, so i was the underdog and no-one expected me to last 20 seconds...i was warming up when my sensei came up to me and said that i should just be looking ot learn from this comp and a trophy by the end of the year in this division would be great...so i took his advice and started to study my opponents, try to work out there fighting stye.

The division started of with two black belts were one made a huge lead and won 5-nil, the next few rounds were close and i was worried. these black belts were bloody fast. finnaly it was my turn to fight, i was up against a brown belt who had beaten a few black belts. we stepped up and i shook his hand (i have good sportmanship), we bowed and began. i stuck to my specialty of moving around and confusing him, when he made a move i would break out to the side and score, but he was somtimes too fast for me, we were tied 2-2 and the judge called sudden death, it was do or die, we started and he came out fast off the mark but walked right into my punch, i got an "unofficial warning" for contact beacuse it was his fault. we started again but i was in his head now, the punch had rattled him and he backed off for a split second and i scored. i won 3-2

Now i was into the final against a black belt who had been scoring all day and i was screwed, i put up a fight and managed to score two points against him but lost 4-2, but little did i know that that fight was for 1st and 2nd place, so 5 minutes after i was told a trophy at the end of the year was good, i got a big 2nd place trophy against black belts, WOO.

Now i will try do the same at NAS round 3 and then the Ishinryu only comp, THE SEAFORD CUP, were last year i won 2 gold medals

i gotta say, it was worth the $700 i paid for it, thats right i got it cheaper than 1000, resistance: fall of man is KICK-ASS, it looks great and i dont even have a HD tv. just one problem, due to the fact that sony have screwed us in australia with the whole "not being able to play ps2 games till you download a patch" thing, i have downloaded it, there's just one problem, i dont have wireless broadband and i cant find a way to put the patch on the ps3...i'll figure it out eventualy.

only 4 days to go until i get my playstation 3, it has been hard not playing my kick-ass ps2 games for a while (i traded in my ps2 to go towards a ps3) but the second thing i'm gonna do when i get my ps3 is play GTA...in case your wondering what the first thing is, i'm gonna set the time on it. duh. After that either on the weekend or monday i'll buy a game, iv'e boiled it down to 2 choices, call of duty 3 or resistance : fall of man (made by the same people who made the first 3 spyro's and rachet and clank)....so it should be good

i competed at the NAS (National All Style's martial arts competition) yesterday and got 1st place in my kata and 2nd place in fighting, next comp is the mornington cup and is 29th march, cant wait

Its about bloody time, after weeks of piss-farting around, I'M FINALLY GOING TO GET MY PS3, even though i'll have to wait god knows how long to get tekken 6
