Yea, if any game's going to show off Wii's graphical capabilities, its going to be Nitro Bike. Try posting some Super Mario Galaxy screens.

[QUOTE="Truth_Seekr"]Right on!!
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Prime series supposed to take place after "Metroid" and before "Return of Samus" ?
Iyethar
Probably best to say that Prime is a separate universe or telling of Metroid than the 2D games. It's certainly got enough of its own backstory and mythology.

Scroll down to chronology and storyline.
When I think of nintendo since the super nes days I think of a little puppy that has 2 broken feet , you still have it around maybe but you should put it down. I do not understand why people go so ape crazy over a 250 dollar electronic paperweight or maybe some of you would like to call it a home gym (hell its better than bowflex). I think its funny they come out with all these new movement games like bowling ,wii fit , wii baseball, if anyone wanted to play those games why not just go out and do it . Get off your butts and get some exercise and yes im talking to you the one with the doritos bag in your hand chip in the other , while your keyboard has nacho chesse dust all over it. Hell you are probably out of breath after one round of wii billiards. My point being is that a hula hoop is like 4 bucks in the store yet people are going to buy out of their pockets just to play something of that calibur.My next topic is the one of which nintendo doesn't have any really good 3rd party games. Yes you have your mario and zelda but without them you wouldnt have anything. Not only are those franchises getting old but its like life support for nintendo and they are still not out. Just like the gamecube the wii will fall eventually to an ungodly 50 bucks used with nothing but elmos letter adventure to keep you busy. I also love the mii/sim wannabe. People need to open their eyes and realize the wii isnt a good system at all , people just buy it because its 250 dollars and they like playing a fat plumber that jumps down tubes. Video games are about something you usually cant do in real life , but wait I cant be a fat plumber and jump down tubes in real life can I? Im not going to type anymore besides where is the online support like playing with other people not in your living room. As it stands right now I can feel my body warming up from all the flaming im going to get in 2 seconds.

system wars
[QUOTE="nintendo-4life"][QUOTE="IbukiNinja"]Well for one thing your name isn't too convincing of a hardcore gamer to me. My favorite system is PS3 and it's hardcore with it's fighting games. No other system have the fighting games like playstation.Tiefster:| :| :| :|
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you think nintendo was never hardcore? :| HELL NOT EVEN HATERS SAID THAT!!!!!!!!!!
and basically what you're saying is that fighting games = hardcore right? ok that's good.
Just because Nintendo's E3 conference shows the ultra casual and nongamer side of the Wii doesn't mean you have to post around here like some patient on a mental health forum. Calm the hell down dude :|
I think you misinterpreted his post. He's saying that you can't say that Nintendo was never hardcore.
[QUOTE="Tylendal"][QUOTE="Mystery_Writer"]nice thread. let me contribute

I forget what it is, and I can't see it clearly, but I know that there is some sort of "Easter Egg" reflected in his eyes.
I can sort of see it... it's a word... R-E-M... something?
its venom!
*half signs*
As of now, I will not be getting a PS3. However, if its able to come out with some really good games (namely God of War 3 and Ratchet and Clank), and can show me its worth a $600 investment, I might change my mind.
