im from newcastle! , i feel ashamed on behalf of these people who will not represent the real city just the idiot side of it! (which is of course why the tv show was made i understand that)i may watch however because i am interested into how they portray the sterotypical geordie lad...from the trailer they have choosen stupid charver tossers!

comic con is an event where nerds geeks from all over come to celebrate the love of all things nerdy geeky etc..

basically me and a couple of friends from england are within this group of people and have seen videos on youtube etc and want to go (one of my friend she wants to go and is trying to persuade my friends) My basic question is what experince is the comic con? is it worth going to? we are thinking if we can save enough money we can all go to next years event but saving up for an event like this in gamespots opinion is it worth it for the experience? whether you have been or not for whatever reason would you take the leap and declare youself geeky enough to go to such an event, im not sure but my geeky friend she like really really wants to go !

American the bill hicks story ! , planet earth , most micheal moore documentrys have a very left wing bias but capatalism a love story is very good piece of documentry film making in my opinion!

Going through my local dvd store today and found American the bill hicks story on DVD, being a student and with loan i decide what the hell dont no him that much but buy the DVD. It blew my mind. Most comedians these days talk about nothing that concerns me but he really did truthfully understand what being a good (in my opinion) comedian is all about .Here are some personal highlights=

Just wondering if anybody has any good stories about things that have happened while playing games? ( a bit bored lol)

One time i was playing KOTOR for pc and played for like 3 hours straight but quite hard in some parts. I finally completed a part i was stuck on but stupidly disabled autosave when a power cut distroyed my progress lol i remeber just staring at the screen for like 5 mins in the dark trying to remeber when it last or did auto save. Turns out the last save was (if anybody had played kotor) was up to the race part to get the woman jedi back when i had completed tatooine part of the story (and become a jedi) before the power cut.

Another time playing early smackdown game on ps1 , three stages of hell match first normal match second round hardcore and third was cage. Me and my brother played the game for like 2 hours it was pretty epic and the ending was just funny. i was the triple h and he was stone cold he won first round and i had won second (after an hour of play) cage match last and for some reason x pac decided to come to the ring and help me out... beat up my borther for a bit then climbed out the cage and won! x pac won ..... somehow...

and finally on halo 2 first glitch was if you had a rocket launcher or snipier and a sword if u quickly change from whatever weapon you had and used a sword by pressing y and right trigger you could fly across the map with the sword at super speed! used it only by mistake first time but still prestty random

This is what happens when i load mafia 2, not sure what the problem is i can run crysis and other high res games on medium settings so i should be able to run this on atleast low ... worried cos i have brought pre-order for mafia 2 on steam hopefully the problem wont be on the game is allowed to be unlocked and just a problem for the demo!
