Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes. I am trying to connect my Xbox to Xbox Live. I have AT&T Yahoo! with a generic modem. Before I switched to Dish w'AT&T I used Comcast and worked perfectly fine. Whenever I connect now, the connection does not even pass the first stage, even though everything is connected. Any help?

Worst WW2 game ever. If you get it, burn it and then pee on it to put out the fire, and then give it to a 2 year old child with a stick so he can finish the job.

BTW: Does anyone remember that a Ad for this game blocked access to this website? Whenever you would click "continue to gamespot" it would just redirect to the game ad.

first, are the discs clean and w/o any scratches? 2nd how old is your ps2? It may be worn out and just have trouble reading CDrom games. Most new-er ps2 games are on DVDROM not CDROM like PS1 games. do you have any older ps2 games? like Twisted Metal Black, Virtua Fighter 4, games that have a purple color to the disc instead of shiny silver. If your ps2 can play PS2 games (new and old) then the ps1 games you tried are just too scratched to work.

My PS2 can still play PES 2010 (a new game) and can still play some older games (such as FIFA 06, GTA SA, etc) and probably a majority of PS2 games. However, whenever I push the blue button, the tray opens fine, but makes a horrible sound (like a rabbid shepherd dog). It can't read blue disc games, and that PS2 actually wasn't mines, it was my friend's PS2 as he got a PS3, hopefully it does not die. It can still read grey disc games though. The PS2 is 5 years old btw.

Are you SURE that the gamecube isn't telling you something?

Hellfury360

I guess this gamecube hates EA games.

Can anyone help me on this? Since the PS2 is backwards compatible with the PS1, it naturally would read PS1 games. My friend gave me GTA I and GTA II for PS1 and then I put them in my PS2, as I went to the browser, it said "disc read error". Can anyone help me?
