Man, I had no propblem at all. I went to TRU (Union, NJ), went straight to the game department, asked for a copy, & walked off with a new shiny game & 25 gift card. I guess the only thing that I can really complain about is the dude working didn't look like he wanted to be there. I heard on another GS post that TRU will be having a Buy 2 get 1 Free Wii Game sale next week. This is why I went to TRU> I figured I'd pick up Mario & the gift card, go back next week & get RE:Umbrella Chronicles along with Rayman 2 & Zack & Wiki. Hope that this sale really happens.

It seems that my delay on purchasing a PS3 has payed off. I'm not interested in the new 40g model, or the 80g model, but the good ol' 60g model. I've been hunting all over the net & stores waiting for another price drop for the 60g version but haven't had any luck. But I did find a great deal for a new PS# at Walmart.com. They areoffering the 60g with a Blu-Ray remote & a free game to boot (Resistance, MotorStorm, Heavenly Sword, and a few others). Heavenly sword caught my attention definetely, but I'm holding off for now in the hopes that they add Ratchet & Clank to that list. If they do, then I will have a shiny new console to play with. If not, then a free copy of Heavenly Sword is totally worht it.

But I wonder what the chances of R&C being added to the list are. I think there's a good chance (especially considering the fact that Heavenly Sword just came out). Should I wait out for another week or two, or just take the offer with heavenly sword? Decisions decisions...

Agreed, if they were on display in the game case I would have had to keep on looking in other places. I wonder how many more they actually had in the back. It just crossed my mind that maybe one of the employees was trying to hide it back there and purchase it when they got off their shift. Hope I didn't thouroughly piss some poor sap off!

Dude, I agree with the whole hassle of driving & gas thing. I don't think her manager even though of checking online at all. But maybe my fiancee will earn some brownie points towards a raise/promotion.

I've met her manager, he's a real cool guy. And I felt bad for his son. He wanted the new transformers game for his DS, his grandparents were going to take care of that. But nobody bothered to see if the game was even out yet. It doens't release until the movie does. So he didn't get anything for his birhtday. Everybody else that did get him something ordered it online, and the presents haven't come in yet. I can see the look on his face tonight when he gets the system.

My fiancee's manager asked her to help him find a Wii for his son. He figured since I found one before, I could help my fiancee find another one. She neglected to tell him how long it took me to find mine. It was roughly 2 months before I lucked out & found one. I wasn't too happy that she volunteered me to this task. I mean we have al kinds of crazy things going on right now, including wedding planning. But she talked me into helping, so we're off Wii hunting. I tried Gamestop, EB Games, & FYE at the closest mall, but they had none in stock. Hell, FYE had in inventory of -3 available! I was ready to go home at this point, not wanting to go thru the hassle of driving to the next 2 malls, Target, & walmart. But off to Walmart we went. I asked the clerk if they had any in stock, she said she would have to check in the back. I thought she was going to come back empty handed & tell us to try back next week. Tell me why she came out with the Wii system in her hands! I was totally surprised, and pissed that it took my fiancee all of 2 hours to find a Wii, while it took me 2 months!! Just needed to vent that out.

Nice, maybe later. Probably when I'm trying to re-unlock all of those songs!

I had bad experiences whith my Sega Genesis & third party hardware. After that, I never trusted anything that doesn't come from 1st party. I have the good old Sony 8mb memory card. I thought it may have been loose too, but when I checked it was inserted all the way in. Matter of fact, I don't think I have ever actually removed the memory card until last night! I was too paranoid of loosing it and having to suffer the humiliation of lossing all my saves (and countless hours of my life!!)!

What really ticks me off is that I have had the same memory card since I bought my PS2 way back when Devil May Cry 1 came out, and it has never ever given me a problem until now. I wonder if transferring the file over to a new memory card would help the situation.....

I picked up a copy of DDR Supernova about 3 weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to play everyday (like I wish), but I had  pretty much unlocked all of the hidden & playable songs. I went to play last night, but when it tried to load my save file, I go back a dreadful message that said the data was 'corrupt'. The good new is that it was only of DDR, and not my entire save history. But this still blows. Do I really have to start all over again in DDR, or will I be blessed by the gaming gods and have the data ready to load again?
