[QUOTE="blackngold29"][QUOTE="Bauers-Twin"][QUOTE="SLYMAGIC123123"][QUOTE="lebanese_boy"][QUOTE="Bauers-Twin"][QUOTE="lebanese_boy"][QUOTE="Bauers-Twin"]Not in recent memory, but If I ever have, I didn't chant it along with 20,000 other people who boo the other team 99% of the time instead of rooting for their own team. If you're gonna call yourselves the "most intimidating fans" then why do you have no faith in your own team? Where's the positive energy? I mean when Staal scored the second goal they showed about ten people who looked like they were going to cry, and Philly was still winning!![QUOTE="blackngold29"][QUOTE="Bauers-Twin"]@blackandgold: you've never said someone sucks who actually posesses talent, just cause you dont like them?Bauers-Twin
throwing the other team off their game doesnt qualify as cheering to you? It does to me?
They are the most intimidating fans, they're freaking crazy for that reason, cause they're hostile for the other team. They have faith but if you cheer everytime your team scores a goal they're gonna go soft, they cheer when the Flyers win.
Yeah well that last part is because they're emotional and intense, much like soccer phanatics over there in Europe.
That was the most absurd statement that I have ever read on this thread :|. Also btw, ever watched a hockey game in Montreal? Yeah hum, Montreal has probably got the loudest crowd (or at least one of the 3 best) and well.... how can I say this?
..
You don't need to watch the game when it's in Montreal, just listen to the crowd, then you'll know at which moments the team is doing well. Not to be mean or anything but the crowd in Philadelphia is filled with despicable people; booing another country's national anthem is just one of the most stupid and corwardly act ever. Sure it happened in Montreal too (which I am NOT defending) but still.... this is some real disrespect. Plus seeing Flyers fans giving their ''finger of honour'' to the pens was just plain immature and stupid.
yeah totaly different then when the Flyers beat the Canadiens and a can hit Jeff Carter in the head while he was being interviewed.
And its true, if you overcheer like "OMGZ YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST EVERS!" they're gonna believe it and their game will fall
smetimes good players and teams need a kick in the rear form their fans.
You just don't get it do you? I never said that Montreal's crowd was any nicer and I did say that I wasn't defending their misbehavior to the other team's players. Learn how to read it, I'm tired of repeating myself to people like you .
Anyway that doesn't matter now because the Flyers have finally got their *** kicked out of the playoffs :D. They didn't deserve the cup so this was justice well made. I think the Stars can take their series to Game 7 but I doubt they'll win it. It should be a pretty interesting match-up if Detroit wins against Dallas.
how did flyers not deserve it first they beat the lead goal scorer in the nhl and then they beat the number 1 seed in the east yea penguins did beat em but i think flyers deserved it more then penguins, penguins had an easy 2 rounds while the flyers were working hard to get where they deserved so dont say flyers didnt deserve it
agree fully with this statement. Penguins besides Crosby, Malkin, Gonchar, Hossa, have a relatively average team and would get torn up by Detroit.
What is that supposed to mean? Besides four of the best players in the league they suck? Last time I checked it's a team sport and everyone on the team counts.exactly what I'm saying, besides those 4 they're team sucks and i dont think just those few guys can carry them past detroit.
rofl are u serious? have u heard of Staal, letang, dupruis, sykora, malone, talbot....yea ure dumb
and the flyers played the capitals and carey price...thats all i have to say, they dont deserve anything
