Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

PowerUp Heroes
PowerUp Heroes is an incredibly fun game that also provides a solid physical workout.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Awesome game that packs a punch and will leave you smiling and drained. If length was a bit better, it would get 10/10.
COD4 is a shooter game following the lives of a British SAS soldier and a US Marine as they fight their way in missions in Iraq and the Russian countryside. The graphics, gameplay and interface are top-notch, and the sto... Read Full Review

Red Steel
Lost opportunity to make a unique Wii shooter.
Red Steel is servicable, but the level design, as well as the design of the weapons and gameplay, is uninspired and monotonous. It can be fun, but ultimately, it is worth waiting for another great shooter for the Wii. ... Read Full Review

Great game with enjoyable combat, levelling and loot gathering. Light on rpging and interaction, but has classy story.
Icewind Dale... what can I say? Normally I like heavier RPG's along the lines of Baldurs Gate, but IWD was of such high-quality, I rather like the dungeon-crawling game. It knows what its focus is... combat. You develop ... Read Full Review

Icewind Dale II
Misses the quality of Icewind Dale 1.
Let me first say I am a huge fan of the Baldurs Gate series of games. The heavy, entertaining role-playing was excellent. Icewind Dale 1 was also great for me, as a fun hack-and-slash. But the sequel was a major dissapoi... Read Full Review

Overlord
Missed potential, but has a wicked sense of humour.
I really wanted to like this game. Games that do something different, and that focus on delivering pure joy as this game does, garner my appreciation. The statement that it has similarities to the great Dungeon Keeper se... Read Full Review

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
A true classic. Open ended exploration, unforgettable characters, and addictive gaming. Fun combat, and true RPG-ing.
Graphics The graphics in this game use the infinity engine, with 800x600 available unlike the lower resolution in BG1. The engine was just a litte dated when it was released, but not bad at all. The reason I rated the... Read Full Review

Neverwinter Nights 2 (CD-ROM)
Neverwinter Nights 2 is a great game, albeit flawed. Strong gameplay system, dialogue and graphics, are key strengths.
Graphics The graphics are very good, slick and detailed. Definitely up to date, they animate well. Cutscenes look good, as do character models and backdrops. Spells and everything else are all very good. The graphics ... Read Full Review

Disciples II: Gold Edition
Disciples delivers an obviously well-planned, complex, atmospheric turn-based RPG that hits the sweet spot.

Planescape: Torment
A personal, genuinely complex RPG whose brilliance outshines its bugs and foibles. I would rate it 9.7 if I was allowed.
I just finished the game. Wow. It was an excellent game with the most authentic role-playing I have seen. Role-playing, story and dialogue are the most important parts of an RPG game for me, and this game has it in abund... Read Full Review

Dragon Age: Origins (Collector's Edition)
This behemoth of a game is a fantastic, rare role-playing experience that suffers a bit from over-long dungeons.
Dragon Age: Origins is an unbelievably fulfilling RPG, one that is so wholly addictive you will be tempted to keep on playing for a ridiculous number of hours on a daily basis. For some, that will be all the recommendati... Read Full Review

Avernum 4
This is not old-school in a good way, and I am an old-school RPGer.
This game has a reputation for being a great old-school rpg which doesn't care about the modern desire for great graphics. This is enticing, as I love rpgs like Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Nights 2, Ultima series etc. B... Read Full Review
