@mackey12345 blizzard games aren't known for being wildly original (eg. the success of the SEQUEL Diablo 2). They are also not known for their extreme individual challenge (WoW being simplistic in nature). Blizzard games are known for their REFINEMENT and attention to detail. Their games can be played at any level in multilayer regards too. The level of competitiveness you can find at the lvl 92 HC Diablo 2 chars, the MASSIVE Korean Starcraft tournaments, the enormous hoards of people all together in WoW, make for some of the most memorable and enjoable moments in gaming.
STEAM did it right. I always buy their games, can install on any machine however many times, and they keep offering DLC and updates for free. DRM problems valve? don't think so
You buy a crock pot, and you have to register it before you even can TURN IT ON. Then, 4 neighbors ask to borrow it to try it out, which is no problem. Here's the catch, you have to be on the telephone the entire time you or your neighbor uses it. As if this isn't ridiculous enough, if a 5th neighbor asks to use it, they're SOL. Although crock pots don't suffer from piracy, these kind of security measures wouldn't make any legit buyers want to use the F*CK*NG thing
