Hey everyone, I watched both of these movies yesterday and I'm going to give my review of them as my FINAL movie reviews of 2011. :) Here are the movie reviews.
War Horse- Oh wow!!! this movie was just so beautiful and moving, This film proves that Steven Speilberg is still the master of filmmaking and he always will be. That's why Steven Speilberg is the greatest director of all time. We took my grandparents to see this movie and they loved it. The picture was beautiful, the scores are wonderful and the score (that was played in the trailer) was played in this film a few times. The acting was also marvelous and the horse was just so beautiful. There were a few scenes that might make the audience cry. I didn't cry that much but the part that probably did make shed a tear was near the end of the movie. What I love about this movie is how it doesn't go crazy with special effects or any of that stuff. It just has a basic storyline for all of us movie lovers that enjoyed the gold ol' days of movies. Consider this film another Steven Speilberg classic. The war scenes in this film were also very good. But yeah, if you just want to see a movie that doesn't go crazy with special effects and has a sweet, moving, and basic storyline then "War Horse" is the movie for you.
Arthur Christmas- FINALLY!!! I got to see this movie. I've been wanting to see this movie a long time ago but we never got a chance until now. I really enjoyed this Christmas movie. It was very funny and it was heartwarming plus sweet. I love these kinds of movies where it is just sweet, heartwarming, and funny. I enjoyed the voice acting and the movie was at a very good and fun pacing. The animation, although, is NOT beautifully done but animation is just okay in my opinion. But yeah, other than the animation NOT being the best, I still enjoyed this movie. If you want to see a fun Christmas movie that is very funny and heartwarming plus sweet that also has a good and very fun pacing throughout the whole movie then "Arthur Christmas" is the movie for you.
:( I'm so sad, these are my FINAL movie reviews of 2011 and I enjoyed giving my opinions of the movies I watch at the theater all year long. :( Those my last movie reviews before 2011 is over and 2012 begins. :( So yeah!!!
NEXT TOPIC (Who's gonna watch that 1-hour iCarly episode "iStill Psycho" (which airs tonight).
Who is going to watch that 1-hour iCarly episode "iStill Psycho" tonight?
I'm definitely NOT going to watch it tonight. First of all, I'm going to my cousins' New Year's Eve party tonight. Second, I don't want my New Year's Eve to be ruined by watching this mess. I'll probably watch it just to see if it's worse than "iPsycho" or a tiny bit better than "iPsycho" in my opinion BUT I'm definitely NOT watching it today.... maybe some other day I'll give it a watch but not on this day called "New Year's Eve". All I know is that "iStill Psycho" is going to suck and ruin Season 5 big time. Season 5 really hasn't been a very good season and it's definitely nowhere near as funny or good as Season 4. I think the writers are running out of ideas so they came up with this. I honestly think "iCarly" needs to be put to rest after this season (no offense to the iCarly fans)
NEXT TOPIC: (Are you all doing for New Year's Eve today?)
What is everyone going to be doing for New Year's Eve today?
As I just mentioned in the previous topic, I'm going to my cousins' New Year's Eve party tonight. Don't worry marebear2009, your review that will be MY FINAL REVIEW of 2011 will be reviewed before I leave to the party tonight. I know that the party will have food and drinks. I might go swimming and I'm bringing over my Xbox Kinect to the house so everyone can play it. I have 3 Xbox Kinect games such are Kinect Adventures, Just Dance 3, and MotionSports Kinect. But yeah, I bet everyone will have fun with my Xbox Kinect. Of course, we will also be counting down til' 2012 comes. Happy New Year's Eve everyone!!!
NEXT TOPIC: (How was your year 2011? What were your bests of 2011? What were your worsts of 2011?)
So how was your year 2011? What were your bests of 2011? what were your worsts of 2011?
Bests of 2011:
(1.) Going to lunch with the girl I really like back in October 2011
(2.) Going to the movie theatre a lot this year to watch the movies that I either want to see OR give it a chance even though it doesn't look all that interesting to me.
(3.) Getting an Xbox Kinect, the movies "Kung Fu Panda 2" and "Crazy Stupid Love", a SpongeBob Christmas hat, A SpongeBob Coin Bank, some money, and a Gift Card to Wal-Mart and Pizza Hut for Christmas.
(4.) Giving the girl that I really like a box of chocolates that says "Will You Be My Valentine?" and then she says "Yes" on February 2011.
(5.) Going to Albuquerque for a couple of days over the summer
(6.) Passing all of my classes for this semester with A's. B's, and a C
(7.) FINALLY joining this website which was in February 12th, 2011 (two days before Valentine's Day) after trying to join this website since November 2009.
Worsts of 2011:
(1.) My dad passed away in September 2011
(2.) This was my first Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now New Year's Eve without my dad.
(3.) I never asked out the girl I really like but I'm too shy to do it OR at least never asking her out to homecoming.
(4.) It was my only semester in Visual Media class... I wonder what class will replace that when I go back to school on Wednesday, January 4th, 2012.
