Hi Guys, Recently I played a multiplayer game online. I am Persian, made elephants, paladin and bombard canons about 110. My enemy is Turk, he finished the match in 20min. Everything turned into ashes by a mob of 50 Janissary, 15-20 cavalier , and 5 trabuchets. Here's the game plan. My opponent brought 5 trabuchets to destroy the Gates. He placed 50 Janiss right behind the Trabuchets and they stood rock solid (standby mode). I had spent all my resources building bombard canons which has larger range to kill Janis, trabuchets vs trabuchets (Paladin can't close in Janis). But, to reach the enemy trabus I have to place my trabus outside my gate and then his cavalier unit takes advantage. When I bring my Paladins to kill his cavalier, Janis is the backup. He had no problem in losing his cavalier for paladin (in this heavy gunpowder war-forget about pike-man). Bombard canons have low accuracy, my enemy swaps the Janiss team very quickly to outwit BCanons. Moreover, Janiss are cheap and can be produced faster. Can you please tell me the best strategy to kill a mob of 50 Janiss in this situation? Any hot keys, shortcuts, powerful units, surprise attacks...anything on ur mind, please let me know.
