Not trying to start a "GW2 will kill WoW thread", but I am very curious as to how many WoW players know for a fact that once GW2 comes out that it will be your knew crack? I for one am making the shift from WoW to Star wars knights of the old republic online as my P2P and GW2 as my F2P

I remember when the first Nintendo came out, I was like "ITS THE HOLY GRAIL OF GAMING". Since then I have be an avid player of video games whether it be on console or PC. I am 26, and I have lost that obsession I suppose that I had when I was younger, but I still love a good video game. I will say my taste in video games has significantly changed, then again, I spent 8 hours a day on dragon age 2. So a good game still sucks me in. I am currently waiting for guild wars 2, not playing much of anything right now because I have drifted more from one on one video games to MMO's and I cant find any MMO's that psyche me out. I know once I get guild wars 2, all I am going to be doing is sitting on my butt playing that as much as I possibly can. So to answer your question, yes and no. I think really all that happens when you get older is that your taste for video games gets more sophisticated.... not so much as a decrease in desire to play but more of a desire for a good game. Before I could play a lot of anything and find enjoyment. Now a days I need a good quality game to get me hooked. At least that is what happened to me.
