He didn't say consoles are finished. He said the golden days are over and it's true. The golden age was ps1/ps2 where there was a huge influx of amazing games and experiences which differed to what was available on PC.

Now, most games make it to PC and are superior on PC. It's the definitive platform and always will be

And during that time there were many great pc games that never made it to console or the console got severely gimped versions. Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Battlefield, CoD, System Shock, Far Cry, Crysis were all originally pc only and now the sequels are all on consoles as well. Everquest Next, Elder Scrolls Online, Planetside 2 and Diablo 3 going to console are even further signs of this going both ways.

Yeah all games go to all platforms that's what I said, but they look and play better on PC

You left out the fact that many once pc centric genres are now on consoles. You made it sound as if it was a one way shift with only the pc getting new genres it never had. Also remember during those console golden days the only way to play online shooters was on pc. Both consoles and pc's are far better experiences than they used to be.

@timster20: Take it up with someone who cares. You have no proof that I have anything to do with you getting karma banned

Your query to the mods on the lounge thread about flagging gave you away. Butthurt banned would be a more descriptive name.

Consoles are doing worse than ever before, so probably Nvidia is right.

The PS 4 broke sales records and the 3 consoles are on track to sell as many consoles if not more than any other generation. Console games still sell best with GTA V breaking entertainment records and Destiny breaking new ip sales records. On top of that the PS 4 is being sold above cost.

The only times I've been flag banned was when I was arguing with you.

If I flagged you that much, I would be karma banned as well

All I'm saying is that I see a pattern.

Boo-hoo

Flagging is typically the action of the butthurt who can't handle opposition. Rarely is it used for it's intended purpose. If it was, this account would have had several strikes by now.

PC is doing great when you factor in all the free Facebook games out there.

Actually, thats not including social gaming. Cranler posted a chart showing only 10% of PC's sales were social/casual gaming.

Lol! Try 10% of the entire gaming market. In fact, in 2013 casual webgames made more money than pc boxed/donwloaded games which are basically any game on dvd, steam and origin that's not an mmo.

Let me guess, you flagged my post right? I always get flag banned when I have discussions with you.

Of course I realize it's a joke but it doesn't change the fact that Blizzard is a publisher who owns multiple game studios. My post was directed at Junkar as much as Gho.

Which game did Blizzard publish that they didn't develop?

Where did I say they didn't develop their games. I was pointing out the folly of comparing a pub/dev vs an individual game studio.

Blizzard is also the developer of all of those games I listed.

Anyways, I never understood the draw of Blizzard games. I tried WoW a few times and got bored to death within the first hour each time. Click on enemy and then watch as the computer performs the actual attack. Same with Diablo 3. Click on enemy and computer does the actual attack.

Completely disagree on this. WoW still does requires skill, ask any of the high end Arena players or hardmode Raids.

And I don't know what you're talking about for Diablo3, when I attack my character attacks where I aimed...Its not turn based or automated.

And? As I said before, a proper comparison would be with another publisher. Would you like to compare Blizzard to Ubisoft, Activison or Warner?

Where did I mention skill? I don't think I can endure the boredom of the early parts of WoW to get to the challenging parts.

When I played the Diablo 3 free trial I simply clicked on an enemy and the character starts attacking. You speak as if it controls like an action rpg ala Elder Scrolls or The Witcher yet it controls like a strategy game on pc. At least the console versions allows proper movement. I'm not a fan of mouse based movement in an rpg.
