@RSM-HQ: So you are mentioning 2 mobile games.....And fallout 76 expansions? Sure FO76 was ass at launch but it has turned itself around quite well. Its a solid game now....You are talking about it as if they havent had a good game in years, yet all their franchise games fall under ur "great games" for the exception of some shovelware mobile games. Seems liek you are reaching a little bit here.

@RSM-HQ: So you are saying you miss when they made good games, but call pretty much all of their games fun for the exception of 1 (fallout 76) im assuming....ok

@naomha1: I think the answer is quite simple. Multiplayer modes allow the developer to release little, low effort items that can be thrown into a shop for real money. They can work on all these minor add-ons during development and then drip feed them to the players for months / years, throw in there some "big" content DLC's like some new maps that might take a bit longer and now u have a steady stream of income for a game that took them maybe a year or so to make. While you have other developers spending years on a single game focused on story and single player elements that once its out thats it.

The damn mobile "gaming" model has just shown dev's that there is a huge market for this kind of crap. Its sad, its annoying and its killing innovation and originality. I hold hope that some day we get those passionate dev's back. Not saying they are all gone i mean, look at indie games, there are some damn good games out there made by a small group of people. But damn i sure do miss AAA dev's that actually care about the games / stories they create.

@thecupidstunts: Yeah i mean i could care less for Coop. I like immersing myself in the single player portions of games. As well as going at my own pace. So no coop is def not a big deal for me in the slightest
