@computernoises: Well some people cant afford to go to a midnight release during the week or to go at the break of dawn to a store during the week, because of having jobs. Not saying u dont have a job or anything like that, but im just saying, in regards to the scarcity i think he means, that after that first release day, it is seemingly impossible to find a unit anywhere, i called 2-3 best buys, targets, walmarts, gamestops and toys R us this morning and they were all sold out. that's at least what i refer to with scarcity and poor planning. The fact that someone on a normal schedule, someone who isn't a die hard fan of nintendo, someone who didn't pre order 5 mins after the switch presentation which ended like 12am, cant get a switch now for the foreseeable future.

I work all week, i get up at 6am and get home at 730pm, i have no time to do anything during those times. So i cant go to a store and wait all night to buy one, and im already at work hours before stores normally open, so yeah it sucks, and its an actual issue.

@d_: Do u not understand their marketing strategy? the more they retain the more they will sell, its more a long ish term goal then a "sold this many on day one" they are trying to make up for all they lost or didnt earn with the wii u, the less there are the more people will want and the more the hype train will be, its just logical, stupid and annoying, but logical in a business sense

@Mogan: Well i mean, i dont really know what else you want? Its not like they are going to tell us the entire story before the game is out. They have given us enough to want to sink our teeth, at least my opinion. A nice framing of the story.

1. Humanity needs to move on from Earth, depleted resources and whatnot, relating somewhat to our actual future

2. Several missions to different galaxies, in this stories case Andromeda, there are "arcs" with the people that will make up these new discovered worlds.

3. You are a pathfinder leader and explorer of these expeditions.

4. Enter Achon or w.e his name is, have to have a bad guy. Enter new species, friends or foes? we dont know

plus some gameplay trailers detailing gameplay duh, combat, exploration with the new mako w.e its called.

This is more than enough to peak my interest and have me invested already in wanting to know more.

Any more and it would just be blatant spoilers. They want you to have a Bite of the cake, so that after that bite it leaves u just wanting more.

@unight: You say they look generic, thats after 3 games of knowing the old characters. To be honest try and think of ME1 when it first came out, look at the original characters from back then, hmmm they kinda seem generic as well, before getting to know their story throughout 3 games. Shepard. yeah army dude, survivor, super generic. Ashley......generic AF, Kaiden generic AF, only ones that werent generic where dif species, but after playing the games, not so generic anymore.

Try not to jump to conclusion just based on looks, still looks fucking rad as shit, this trailer gave me chills.
