Cool, I just added you guys. I know. When I first got the game I had tons of custom global events to choose from. Now I'm lucky to find a single one. SSX is a cool game, but EA sort of dropped the ball on the no local multiplayer and no real-time online race thing. I'm sure people would still be playing it if it had those features.

I think they realize that, I'm fairly sure this game was just a tester to see what how the new ssx would be recieved and what to improve on. They were probably budgeted too low to add some features. Which is a shame to me because i think the game has major potential :( But i still play occasionally if you want to add me :D just dont ask me to Race It lol, i'm no wingsuit race enthusiast PSN: J-Hook

I agree, I dont think multiplayer is destroying anything as much as the gamers keep on making COD number 1 month after month. Implement=Sales figures. The multiplayer feature has been bastardized by the gaming industry. There are tons of good multiplayer designed games out there, Super smash bro. melee (most nintendo games) Resident Evil 5 (as much i dont want to admit it) Borderlands, Left for Dead series, Little Big Planet, Goldeneye 007, etc. I think Multiplayer has undertaken a bad rep and needs to be redeemed. I love both MP and Single Player games but the industry has yet to balance the two coherently. Until companies want to truely work on innovative Co-op/Single player interplay rather than tacking on 'features' for extra sales we are going to be stuck with a few bad games....but thats the nature of all industry. Sales>New Technology>Innovation (non-techno related)>Fans
