My graphics card has all the new drivers and also is one of the newest Nvidia cards. I'm not sure if it is DirectX causing the problem but I really want to play BF2142/BF2 on my new 22" LCD Monitor
Reviving this topic because I have the same problem....
My computers motherboard fizzled out... it also took out the HDD...
I just got a new computer and I installed BF2 and BF2142. I started a multiplayer game and while in the load screen it blue screen freezes for a brief second.. tried reinstalling and putting patches on but nothing.
