Guild Wars 2

I pre-bought Mists of Pandaria, but I doublt that I will care now that I tried Guild Wars 2. :-D

New Macs and WoW

My new Macs are great. I just love OS X and the stability and silence of the hardware (Mac Pro) and it runs WoW beautifully on my new 30" Cinema display in full 2560x1600 resolution.

Well new Ubuntu again. :-D

Great. Ubuntu 6.10 is released. Great news (for me at least). Have also been trying Vista (the RC1 you can download from MS) and it really, REALLY eats a lot of resources, but it works, and with some tweaking you don't get theese annoying popups all the time. I haven't tried to turn off all the gloss to check if games would run at the same speed as under XP. Have to do that later. But now I'm so pleased with 6.10 and Beryl (easy 3D desktop with lots and LOTS of stuff).

Trying lenses

Well I have issues with touching my eyes. Bad issues. :-O

I tried lenses for the first time today, and I used 40 minutes to get them in, yes 40 minutes!!!!!! And alot of time getting them out again.

Gonna try it out for 14 days to see how it feels.

Summertime is great

Summertime and a long vavation is just great.
I have four weeks of holiday and I'm halfway through. I like it. :-) The sun is shining and all is well. Don't think I will be using the computer much when the weather is as good as it is now.

New car tomorrow.

Guess what. We will be picking up the wifes new car tomorrow. It will be fun. With a driving computer and all. :-)

Party games rock

Well, there is one area that the PS2 really has the others pinned. And that is the Party games area. Great games like Buzz, Sing Star, DDR (yes it's on xbox to, but not the same variety), bomberman (I favor the PS2 controller for such games). As you can guess, we had a party last night, and it ended in Buzz and Sing Star (as always ;-D).

ScummVM on PSP

One of the reasons I bought the PSP was the possibility to run ScummVM on it. The sad part is that Sony fights the homebrew scene instead of finding a workable solution.

Now I'm stuck with a PSP without the possibility to play ScummVM games on it, I really wish Sony sould come up with a way to allow at least some of the homebrew software to run on it.

Bored!

You know what? I'm a little bored. I don't wanna do something special either. So I guess I'm fine with beeing bored. :-)
