I own all the UFC games for PS2 and XBOX aswell as Pride FC. I also own Fire Pro Wrestling Returns and King Of Colosseum 2 aswell as K-1 games. If you're wanting an 'MMA' game, Pride FC would be the best of the bunch, if you're okay with a wrestling game with MMA on it, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns and King Of Colosseum Red and Green and 2 are deeper games than Pride FC. Problem with King Of Colosseum is, you need to be able to play Japanese games on your PS2. I think it's best to just wait for the new UFC game - They're meant to be releasing more info at UFC 84 which is on May 24th.

Fight Night Round 3 is a fantastic game. I don't think it matters if you're a fan of boxing or not. It's better than any of the MMA games and if you get it on 360 or PS3, you can make a pretty good Chuck Liddell. Even Fight Night Round 2 is great. You can't make Chuck, but there are a few fighters on it that aren't on FN Round 3.

There is a lot of crap that targets 8 year old boys too and games that could only be enjoyed by 8 year old boys. Unless you see some titles that you really want to get your hands on, don't get a DS.

I miss the excitement that I felt for Pokemon, but I don't miss the games. Diamond and Pearl do everything the older games do and they do it better - I don't play my Pearl.

I sort of know what you're going through, but I don't feel like that with my DS. In general I think that DS games aren't very good, but there are some good games around and more are coming. Thing is they're not cheap. The DS itself is very cheap, but the games aren't. We all miss games like Bomberman and whatever else, we go pull them out of the cupboard and play them for a little while, but then they go straight back in the cupboard. It's better to have the one console. If you find that you like the games on the PSP and you want more of the PSP games, stick with it. If there are no DS games that you're very interested in, you can't make yourself become interested. Like I said, I sort of understand how you're feeling, I feel the same about my Wii.

Good luck.

I thought Diddy Kong Racing was BAD. I think Cartoon Network Racing might be better than it.

Metroid Prime Hunters has rubbish single player, but multi-player makes up for that.

If you can wait, why not wait. You save your money and the longer you wait, the cheaper the DS is going to be. I don't think anybody will want to bring out a new handheld until maybe 2011.

As for the DS, we keep getting better titles and it just keeps growing in popularity. People with brothers and sisters, or parents with children, it's great if more than one sibling has a DS, with single card play and how many games there are that have that, it's really good. All the kids can be in their rooms playing together.

I would look at what you would do once you have your DS, what games you would want to buy, why you want a DS. This sort of thing helps you work out how much you want it or if you even do want it.
