Reboot!

My first update in quite a long time, sorry for abandoning this page. Future updates will be sporadic. :o

Guess how the army went? Badly

I went through all the motions, but got a letter on my birthday from the armymedical wing saying I couldn't join. From the age of 13-16 I had a condition called M.E., I'm not gonna bore you with an explanation but its kinda almostlike having the Flu for 3 years. Anyway I made a full recovery and nearly 10 years later they didn't like the fact I'd had it at all.

So screw them, I'm fit as a fiddle

Now, I've moved to Sweden from England (about 7 months ago). Its a lot quieter here but the standard of living is so much higher and cheaper. Beforeme and my gfcould barely afford a crappy one bedroom flat (apartment) in a bad area, now we can have a great big flat in a lovely area and still afford to go to Egypt every year. Games are a lot more expensive than inthe UK though, and the UK isalready more expensive than america.

I'm starting a language course soon and I really like it here. But I can't help myself missing home :(

Gaming!

Lately I've been playing the hell out of Bad Company 2 on PS3, my gf is hogging Dragon Age Origins and I just got Metro 2033 (360) and Uncharted 2 through the mail :!:

Kinect sucks but it will sell

Wolves lost

Should have done this yesterday but I forgot :P

My team Wolves (football, a.k.a. ''soccer'') lost to West Brom the other day, it is a sad time. We've been local rivals since the beginning of time itself it seems, hopefully we can destroy them next time we meet.

Still haven't seen the doctor about the army because of the flu and I had to see a friend in Wales, but I'm going on monday. The more I think about combat and learning to be a soldier the more excited I get. They really look after your every need and the money's not bad either.

Just gave my brother a strict talking to for spending too much on xmas presents (he can't afford what he spends which is a stupid amount, thinks people will love him more :| ). He's determined to get his own Wii too because I'm having one in my bedroom, now he's begged me to get him Zelda for his xmas present because he can't afford it as well.

Gaming: Been playing more Joint Ops: Typhoon Rising, GTA: San Andreas, Killzone and a little Quake 4. (I play a game for a few hours every night instead of watching any DVD's or even TV, unless I'm down the pub with mates).

Let it begin

Right I decided to start a blog and keep it updated every wednesday for some crazy reason I dunno. So my name's Marcus, I'm 23, from Wolverhampton England.

Not much to say right now, I was a barman for 3 years but now I'm unemployed. Although I just applied for the army which I had been considering for a while (felt like kicking some arse in the east). Its still early days nothing is concrete but I hope to join the infantry (my friends think I'm too clever for that), I might just end up doing the 4 years minimum service anyway. I just need to fill out a medical form and see my doctor now but I have the flu so not sure when that'll be. I will keep this updated on my application process.

Otherwise I'm really miffed about my mountain bike, was going for a ride down an old railway track the other day and the rear tire had a complete blow out (felt like a bomb detonating below me), nice 45 minute push back home :(

Gaming: I've been playing some Call Of Duty 2, Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising and LEGO Star Wars 2 all on PC.

Oh and I'm a Wolves fan, down with the Albion!!
