I've been waiting to play God of War iii since it was released. At the weekend I got my hands on a copy and began my hack and slash blood-fuelled rage through Greek Mythology. And you know what?? It was flippin' awesome! I was really getting into it... but then... all of a sudden.. little glitches started creeping in. The lip sync started to go, small graphical errors began popping in and out, and then on a certain scene everything froze. I loaded up my previous saves and time and time again it froze in the same spot. This was not an error with the PS3.. that was still active.. it was a major flaw with the game!

I jumped onto Google and found out that quite a few others have experienced similar problems. There are little 'fixes' that people suggested, but unfortunately none of them worked for me.

After much trying, I have had to pack it in. I'm really surprised this is even an issue with such a big name game. It seems like a major bug that effects only some players/consoles. Loads of people were saying that this can be an issue when playing the game on a PS3 fat, but in my case I have a PS3 Slim 360GB.

I have never had this happen to me before with a game. Maybe it's slightly more disappointing because this is one of those mile a minute blood fuelled frenzy games which is quick to impress and pull you into the action... and now I'm without :( Sad days! I mean, in the big scheme of things it's no biggy. I can take up my time doing...well, anything else. But still... a bit gutting! God of War is one of the reasons I got a PS3.

Has this happened with anyone else with God of War iii, or any other game for that matter? Be good to have other people to sulk with ;)
