Nice work. Makes me wish I had a bit more time to play a lot of the amazing looking titles that came out this year.

Just for the record, for everyone who is complaining, I've played lots of EA games and enjoyed every single one of them WITHOUT paying for anything additional. I don't understand why people are complaining about having to pay extra. Making a video game is a HUGE endeavor that involves a lot of different people. The cost you pay is for the game and if you want additional (...if I may... often USELESS) content then please, by all means, pay the developer for the extra time put into producing it.

Let be honest, and I own a PS3, the motion controller is ONLY to draw some of the consumers away from their Wii's ... which are now useless due to the complete lack of games... and get more PS3's into the everday household across the globe. Thats all it is. Period. It has nothing to do with 'refining the hardcore experience'. This will NOT be taken up in a worthwhile way but hardcore gaming because development on that front is still moving along just fine and doesn't need something NEW. Sony just wants to compete with the best-selling Wii at a point where consumers are looking for the "new thing". Family-friendly Wii owners are bored right now and Sony wants to capitalize by selling more systems and games that people with a Wii are familiar with. Let the great transition for the casual gamer begin. Wii -> PSMove That being said... I'm probably still buy it...

There definitely should have been some events included from Chains of Olympus.

Props to Gamespot for a great article... its a shame I had to search the homepage for it. It should be more prominent.

"The field has never been as broad as it is now." I couldn't agree more. The broad field makes it exciting and accessible to many different types of gamers which is a big reason why gaming is being brought into the limelight of media more and more throughout the years. People who play games religiously might still be seen as "gamers", but because of how the industry (all companies, not just Sony from whom I acquired the quote) are reaching out in different ways people are becoming "gamers" in their own small way. Very exciting.

@ Ronwern: I couldn't agree more. Seems like she really missed the point.
