When I don't play for awhile, after about a week of committed abstinence, I get these little urges. I don't really have time to play anymore, but I get into these fantasy strategy games like takeover, kingdom rush, and hearthstone and just play and scheme until I fall asleep.

Jrpgs are too tedious. The time required to invest in any rpg just isn't worth it anymore. Western rpgs become bland after awhile. Even casual Zelda games require me to purchase a new console. I just don't know if i can game anymore. Online games are an endless time and often money sink. Yet somehow, I keep telling myself that things will get better.

I just realized that I like the animated style. I came over from the "For Honor" page which looks just like an Elder Scrolls game. Seemingly all other RPG Adventure game series except JRPGs generally follow a realistic style for their games -- nitty gritty, serious, slash'n'blast violence with an over-complicated item management. I've been a follower of Elder Scrolls and the Zelda series for almost 15 years. And this style just pops out at me like a refreshing breeze on a warm day at the beach.

This series was built on Zelda as a trophy to be won. And that's why I liked it. But it will take more than a little change of goals to knock me off the bandwagon.
