[QUOTE="thenjimmysaid"]What about RE:DS? Shouldnt that be under A games...even though it IS kinda old... hahaboboboj

Well I was thinking about that but the GC version and the PS version are far better so just tell them to get those versions. Then it look horrible on the DS lite so there is two reason why I didn't put it on the list.

WTF??????

okay sure the Gamecube version is better, that's a given, but Resident Evil: DS is way better than the psx version.

Add it to the list! :D

ya i saw that i mean anyone who has the game can you like rate it from a scale of 1-10 and say whats so fun in the game and stuffPolishgamer411
Its pretty much a direct port of the original Theme Park which i owned for the pc welll over a decade ago. I loved the game when i was younger, but a direct port loses about 25% of the review. It uses touch screen well, although you get messages flashing up all over the place if you choose to have an assistant and it suffers from the sim-numbness you get from a sandbox game eventually, but i really enjoy it... been playing it for a couple of days now! I just wish there were some additions beyond exchanging profiles over wifi. That said its got a lot of nostalgia for me, being a game I played well over a decade ago, and on several platforms since. Its a good port, but there are no additions to the gameplay, so I have to give it a 70/100 since i've played it all before, many times. Its a shame they didn't bother to add new rides, modes, settings, fix the problems with it like the dumb ai for some of the douches, because i like the interface. As far as sims/theme games go, its one of the better ones. Why such fond memories, its a good hook for a sims game, there's lots of management, you research and build new rides and have to keep them ticking over with mechanics, you have to hire staff and plot paths for handymen, etc. You have freedom to lay out your rides where ever you want, akin to sim city, although given its age its pretty limited on what you can do for the most part. If you want a full sim game you can meddle in stock shares, there's staff and goods union negotiations, etc. You start off with a park in britain but the more money and value it gets the more places you unlock that have some unique attractions. Its a good, light, well rounded sim-style game game. Still one of the best, infact. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theme_Park_(computer_game)

[QUOTE="The_Nemacyst"][QUOTE="greenleaflink"]you wasted alot of your time here if nintendo does bankrupt, all hell breaks loose, reggie kills everyone etc! Nintendo WILL never go bankrupt, they focus on GAMING and they have sucess...

Sega FTW

erm... Nintendo Gameboy + Nintendo DS + Nintendo Wii + good first party game vs unprofitable hardware vs crappy arcade game rehashes Nintendo comparisons to sega are pretty ludicrous. If we become all ludicrous and we were able to comment on this thread, lets say if it turned out Shigeru embezzled all of nintendo's vast wealth and ran away to pluto, and ds's started blowing up like Sony laptop batteries, then i would hope microsoft would do some wheeling and dealing to secure nintendo's exclusivity. they have the money and would desperately want to win over the japanese market.

when i said "without flaws", I mean it attacks the concept of traditional narrative across sequels, and therefore isn't tied in by obvioous plot holes you will get if you try and put these games in any order.

One thing worth considering, its been mentioned a few times in the past and is the one without flaws. The clue is in the title, its a legend. Like the legend of Robin Hood, or king arthur, its never the same and varies based upon interpretation and who and when the story is told. Its the same link, its the same zelda, its the same gannondorf and the same gannon. The plot changes based on the storyteller and the motives and themes they want to portray. Examine the plot. In every Zelda game, link is never the first Legnedary Hero. He's never the first owner of the Master Sword. etc. He's very often an orphan, Gannondorf is very often a character that rises to power, is caught and/or killed only to return with tremendous power. People are trying to fit in how gannondorf keeps getting caught and killed, and is banished to another world, but no matter how you look at it, its either deeply flawed or Gannondorf is incredibly stupid and forgets everything. The reincarnation theory is the only one that makes some sense, but even then, the identical events keep happening. There's the repeating duality of worlds, how hyrule could be plunged into darkness/twilight/a bleak future etc., if link fails. Sometimes link has to earn his tunic, sheild and sword and upgrades them as he progresses, other times he starts with the green tunic. Minor plot aspects change, such as whether Link is in possession of the triforce of courage or whether he earns it, whether he has a horse, etc. Even with Wind Waker, where the world is radically different, its the same basic premise. Lots are the same, Link is always an orphan, whether already established or whether his gaurdian dies (Link to the Past), the geography is always the same zones but in different places and with minor additions, there's always a master sword of kinds, etc. it all reflects the same legend being told, but by someone with hazey facts, or how the legend has changed and warped for different people with different story telling devises. There's some minor continuation, like Majora's Mask link is the same as Ocarina of Time link, and Link's Awakening isn't set in hyrule (and likely to be the link from Link to the Past imo). The games usually reference one another, but that's because all of them have the concept of Link never being the first hero in the world, its more likely they are just referencing a generic hero from another legend. Wind Waker is a noodle scratcher, but that's because it radicalises the world, if you look at the base plot traits, its the same as the others. To that extent, timelining would be futile, they could very well be in the correct order since its the same legend. Legend of Zelda 1 is likely to be the first if there is ordering, twilight princess references a link that is there before Oracina of Time in the story telling of the Lake Spirit (btw does anyone have some high resolution screenshots from this? That's awesomely atmospheric), and that doesn't match the events of any of the games. I think that nintendo doesn't know the timeline either, its evident that each director has changed what the timelining is or could be, but when you get down to it, they are repeatedly reinterpretting the same story. Shigeru flip flopped between sequential ordering, then changed, and now the new director's keep changing. The developers only see their microcasm view at that moment in time and that differs from everyone else because its their interpretation of a legend. Its the Legend of Zelda, not Link's Series of Unfortunate Events.

Whilst Rome was a bigger leap forward, Medieval 2 is just progression... there's little point playing Rome now that Medieval is out. Its the same game, just better. its not a step backwards in any way. :)

Your insurance company will pay for your wii purchases, not nintendo. The analogies to the car dealer are spot on, this has nothing to do with nintendo. If your wii broke, then they should indeed change over your games.
